"I'll be right back, I'm going to get something to eat for me and Shianne , you want anything" said Crystal as she got up and looked at JC.

"No thanks" said JC he then watched as Crystal left in her leopard bikni and headed over to the hot dogs stand. JC then looked over at Shianne who was sound asleep. He then looked up and saw Karen Reid his ex girlfriend. She saw him and turned her head, but in a way she was smiling at him with a big smirk on her face.

JC then said "Shianne I'll be right back" even though she couldn't hear him because she asleep JC got up and went over to say hello to Karen. Karen was a tall girl with long blond hair, dark green eyes. JC loved her body and the way it looked.

Karen was reading a book when he approached her. She then saw his shadow over and looked up and said " Joshua ...?" she asked.

"Hey Karen" said JC with a smile on his face.

" Long time no see what are you doing up here ?" she asked.

"Oh I'm just down here with a friend of mine, forgetting about Shainne and his girlfriend Crystal JC sat down on the beach towel with Karen, and they began talking.

Meanwhile Crystal was back from the stands with the food,and saw that Shianne was still sleeping. She then awoke her by shaking her softly and said "Sweetie wake up, time to eat", Shainne smiled and then took the hot dog and began to eat. Crystal then noticed JC wasn't right next to her. This had made her mad, because he promised her he would watch Shainne while she went to the stands and not leave her alone.

Crystal then got up slowly and saw a someone she knew and thought was very attractive. He was tall and blond, blue eyes and very well built. He looked innocent enough to watch over little Shianne. She asked him to and he was more than happy to watch over her. Crystal thanked him and went to go look for JC. When she found him there was something she had to see but it wasn't something she didn't want it to be true. JC his ex girlfriend were all over each other kissing and making out. Tears began rolling down Crystal's face, shen walked away pissed and very uhappy. When she got back to her spot, Shainne and the guy were gone, but then she saw them out in the water, playing and having a good time. She smiled and wanted to know more about this guy.

" Hey what's your name I wanted to thank you so much for everything you've done" " Your welcome" said the man.

"By the way what's your name ?" asked Crystal

" My name is Nick" he said. Crysta's eyes began to flutter and glitter with love. She felt something for this new stranger.

Crystal stood and looked up at the new stranger and said "It's nice to meet you Nick " she said with a smile.

Nick then noticed that Crystal had some anger in her eyes, but then they were both really red from crying. He then asked " Crys, if I may call you that..you look kinda sad right now..might I ask if anything is wrong ?" said Nick.

Crystal nodded her head no and finally said "Yes you may call me Crys. Crystal knew in her right mind that she was lying to herself as well as to her new friend Nick. She then looked up at Nick and said " Well I better go now Nick, thank you for everything you've done"She then hugged Nick.

His embrace was warm and secure and the minute Crystal body was intertwined with Nick's she felt secure and safe. She sighed alittle bit. Crystal called over for Shiane and gathered her things up handing Shiane a few things to hold. She gave Nick a small kiss for being soo sweet and considerate to her.

Over in a small distance JC then got slapped in the head. He remebered Crystal and quickly let go of Karen.

"What's wrong ?" asked Karen seeing that JC was in some sort of trouble.

"I just kissed you,that's what's wrong.

" So what's wrong with that" asked Karen she was looking quite flirtatious.

"The problem is you broke up with me, we're no longer together..I'm with someone else" said JC quickly getting up.

"JC wait!" said Karen, before she could say anything JC was already gone. She then began to think of something she could to get JC back.

"I'll just see if he wants anything specific" said Karen. When JC got to the spot where he last left Shiane, he saw that she was gone as well as all the stuff.

"Oh Shit she's gone..hmm she might've thought I went someplace for a while..but that's right I was suppose to be watching over Shiane, when I was talking to Karen...damn me" said JC.

He then rembered that Crystal was driving and he had no way to get back this his house. JC knew had to ask someone for a ride. Who would he ask...he then looked around the beach and saw no one he knew except for Karen. JC then sighed and said "Karen I need a favor of you" said JC with somewhat of a annoyed but pitful look on his face.

"Oh sure JC I'd be happy to help you out" said Karen with devlish smile on her face.

"I need for you to give a ride home" said JC.

"Ok Joshua" said Karen. "Thank you so much " said JC.

"Just grab yourself and we shall be on your way" said Karen. "JC then ran off and grabbed his jeans and shirt and Karen lead him to her car. They both of them climbed on Karen drove off with JC in the passengers's seat.

Over at the beach Nick walked right back to his friends who were joking around and dancing to some music playing on the radio. One of the guys named Brian saw Nick, who has this smile on his face.

"Hey Guys looks like Nick met a pretty girl " said Brian laughing alittle.

"Who is she man " asked another guy named AJ.

"She was no one dude, just a girl I met at the beach who wanted me to look at her daughter.

" Yeah whatever you say man " said Brian and he and Nick began dancing to the music.

As Nick began dancing something came over him. A feeling that overcame him. He never felt like this before. He wanted to see his friend again very soon.

Within 30 minutes JC arrived at home. Karen let JC out of the car and said before he left.

"Joshua if you need anything call me okay" JC smiled a little but and said, "I'll remember that Karen but it won't be anything serious, I have to get inside now and talk to my girlfriend seeing if she's okay and why she left me at the beach" Karen nodded. and said "I hope everything is okay"

"Me too "said JC. He then got out of the car and slammed the door. He then looked back at Karen and waved goodbye.

When JC got inside Shaine watching a movie and sitting on the couch. "Shiane?" asked JC "Where's your mom" he said. Shiane then looked up from her move and said "She's in the kitchen."

JC then left the room and there was Crystal in the kitchen cooking some food for dinner. There was something different about her. She seemed okay but inside she wanted to throw out her anger. JC then walked up to Crystal and said "Hey baby..I gotta ask you something"said JC.

Crystal dropped her knife and said "Yeah so do I Joshua" she said trying to not to show her temper.

"Why don't I go first, that if you question is the most important" said JC seeing alittle bit of Crystal jeleously.

Crystal looked up at JC and said" I believe my question will get everything started into this room and cause this room to be messed up" said Crystal with her hands on table and giving JC a look of annoyance. "I'll go first maybe this will get the everything started." said Crystal.

"Ok baby" said Joshua. Crystal then began to walk to the door that lead the room where Shiane was watching TV. She then turned back to JC and finally began to speak.

" Do you love me ?" asked Crystal JC looked at her and said "Yes of course I love you baby..what kind of question is that ?" asked Joshua.

"It's a question of truth Chaevez one simple question..do you love me or not" said Crystal. JC then looked at the window for a second and then back at Crystal.

"'Baby you should know the answer to that question." "Ok, I'm going to say No Joshua" said Crys.

"Why would you say that honey?" asked JC. He had no idea why she would say something like that. "I say you stupid son of a bitch because when I came back with the food..I saw my daughter left alone..and then to make matter worse I saw you kissing your ex girlfriend Karen Reid..ring a bell bunny?" said Crystal beginning to get angry.

Joshua couldn't believe that his own beloved girlfriend has seen him kissing Karen. Joshua was speechless, he didn't know what to say. "See you don't love JC..you still love your ex Karen..I should've known better then to ever go out with you and move in with you..giving myself to you...your nothing but a selfish ass bastard who doesn't give a fuck but anyone but himself" said Crystal.

"That's not True! Crystal!"yelled out JC, he was trying to win tell Crystal the truth but it came out as a lie.

"I don't believe you sick son of a bitch!" screamed out Crystal. She then went into her drawers and grabbed a knife and began swinging at JC. JC was backing up from her

"This is what I think of you, you shithead!" said Crystal.

Courtney a really good friend of Crystal's was upstaris and heard all the noise and ran down stairs to see Crystal and JC in a bad arguement.

Courtney then headed toward Crystal and grabbed her arm, trying to take the knife away from her.

"Crys damit! what are you doing to JC..let it go!!!?" Courtney then took the knife away from Crystal. She then fell to the floor crying. Courtney was breathing hard and looked at JC.

"What did you do Joshua?" she said. Joshua didn't say a word. He stayed sient for a little while.

Just when Joshua was about to speak. Shiane walked out of the room and saw her mom crying on the floor and Courtney with the knife in her hand.

"What going on...why is mommy on the floor?" Courtney turned to Shiane and said "Shaine go upstairs and get to bed... Now!" Shiane then walked past her mom and Courtney and walked upstairs. When she was gone.

Courtney looked up at JC finally said "I don't know what you did to her, but I want you to save your shit forever...just leave..I don't think your prescence will be recommended for here awhile. now you better get out of here before I do something irractional and I regret it later on."

JC looked at Courtney with a tear coming from his soft blue eyes. He looked at Crystal who was still crying but gave him an angry look. JC then left got into his car and drove off.

Crystal watched as his car disppeared into the night. Courtney then placed the knife on the stairwell and walked over to Crystal and hugged her.

"Go get some sleep Crys..you need before you to work tomarrow" said Courtney gently.Crystal nodded her head and then went upstairs.

Courtney watched as her friend went upstairs slowly. Courtney felt soo awfual for Crystal. She had to think of something to do to help her.
