Nick pounded on Mandy's apartment door.When she opened the door,she smiled at him. "Well,well.What a surprise.Did Blane tell you that I ran into her today?," she asked,tossing him a self~satisfied smirk. Nick glared at her."Oh,she told me alright.Why the hell did you tell her we slept together?You knew that was a flat~out lie," he threw at her. She pulled him inside and closed the door.Then she turned to him."I told you that you were going to pay for rejecting me the other night,Nick.But you didn't believe me," she told him. Nick felt himself start to lose control.He grabbed her arm and spit at her," Because of you,I've lost the most important person in my life! Do you have any idea what that's like,Mandy?Or are you satisfied with being a no~good,lying little bitch who will stop at nothing to get what she wants?" She drew back then and slapped him hard across the face.He was momentarily stunned,then regained his composure.She glared at him."Don't you ever talk to me like that again,Nickolas Gene Carter!," she yelled. Nick shook his head."You know,Mandy,the days of you treating me like shit are over.And I no longer listen to anything you say! I've learned one lesson from being with you,and that's never let anyone run your life.Especially some self~centered,arrogant bitch who gets satisfaction from pushing others around," he declared. She opened her mouth to say something,but he stopped her."You're gonna get your no~good,skanky ass over to the beach house and tell Blane that you lied about us sleeping together." She crossed her arms over her chest."I will do no such thing," she replied firmly. He shook her."Yes,you will! You have to Mandy!It's the only way of getting her back.She's leaving in the morning to go back home," he declared. She pushed him off her and glared at him."Maybe this will teach you another lesson,Nicky:never mess with me," she said,her tone cold and hard. He pointed a finger at her."You are the sorriest excuse I've ever seen for a human being Mandy!You can't stand to see me happy with anyone else but you," he yelled at her. He turned and slammed out of her apartment then,shaking with anger.What was he going to do now?He was on his own. *************~*CHAPTER 82*~*************** Returning to the beach house,he found Blane had returned while he was gone and packed all her stuff,and left a note saying she was staying at a hotel that night before catching a flight home,and not to contact her again. He crumpled up the piece of paper and threw it on the floor,then buried his head in his arms.A moment later,there was a knock on the door. When he answered,he was surprised to see Amy standing on the doorstep.He hadn't seen her since the night of the poolparty at his house. She smiled at him."Hi NIck.Your parents told me you were here,so I thought I'd drop in and say hi.You don't mind do you?," she asked. He shook his head and stepped back,and they walked into the living room and sat down.She turned to him."How are things?" He was quiet."Well,to be totally honest,not too good," he told her,playing with his fingers. She scooted closer to him and took his hand."I'm sorry to hear that.Wanna talk about it?," she asked. He shrugged."Me and Blane just had a huge fight and she left me,saying she's going back home," he told her. Amy hugged him."I'm sorry.I hope you can work things out," she comforted him.She sighed."Me and David broke up," she admitted. Nick's mouth fell open."No way!You two were together forever.What happened?" She took a deep breath."I found out he was cheating on me," she replied,her voice breaking. Nick pulled her into his arms as she started crying.HE let out a huge sigh."Looks like we're both not doing too good relationship~wise," he remarked.At least now they had each other's shoulders to cry on.... ~*Chapters 83-85*~
