This is a Matriarchal society where leadership passes through the female bloodline from mother to daughter. Nae, we are not Amazons. Both female and male are equal with the distinction that all women are respected as the living breathing images of the Lady.
Our government is a that of a Empire. The ruling Monarch, our Empress, is advised by a Council of Elders that represents each of the Sister Worlds and Terrains. My mother is the current heiress. Rumors have it that the Empress is the Lady in avatar form, but this has not been verified by the Elders.
The Imaji Realm is a Federation made of various sister worlds in the near by galaxies that surround Imaji Espe'jismo or Espe'jis'mo, the New Home World. The Original Home World has been lost to myth and legend. It was simply called Imaji. War among the divine entities destroyed that world. Our Elders believe that the Shi'aarae will restore the True Home World.

For it is woman who is the creator and the destroyer of life. Men can vote and hold minor political roles, mostly those that require the art of warfare and killing. For this belief alone, power is passed along the maternal bloodline from mother to daughter. In households where there are no daughters, the first born male assumes the mantle of power.
Imajians have a long life span lasting several hundreds of years between 500 to 900 years of age with a slow aging process. This makes childhood a long ordeal. In this realm, the immortals are the divine entities. Others who are termed supernaturals are deemed as mortals, they just tend to have very long life spands.
The Imaji people are a sensual open minded civilization. Both women and men can take under law two or more consorts.
A collage of colorful cultures can be found through out the realm. From Artic Tundras, Savannahs, Deserts, Subterranean Worlds, Tropical Rainforests, the terrain is vast and rich.
We worship nature in all her splendor and aspects from dark to light. This is a world where science, nature, and magik have coexisted in harmony since the Exodus.
It is believed that a spirit lives in every thing. Thus, the land and its bounty are treated like a shrine. Nae tree is cut down before offering thanks for the sacrifice to the spirits of the forests. The hunter does the same thing whenever game is slain. Small simply stone temples are found in all the wild and natural places. Our cities are full of splendor and beauty. They are made in accordance to the environment and terrain. Our people do not shape the land to accommodate themselves, the land shapes us and our ways.
We do have our enemies,those that come after the fall of the wars that raged across the Home World. I will speak of this later on.
