  People

I honestly think that each and every person that I've encountered in my life has been for a reason. After all it says in Ecclessiasted that there is a time for everything and this must certainly include the people in our lives. Some of them have been short lived, while others have been there for me for my whole life. This is dedicated to all of those special people who has made a difference in my life. These are listed in chronological order.

  John "Flaunnie" Schneider

This guy has been a good friend for as long as I can remember. I met him in Jr. High school in science class. Growing up, it was always Adam, him, and I. John, I think of as being my personal life coach. When we first became friends, I was quiet, reclusive, and a bit of a loner. John, more than anyone, taught me to not be afraid of life and all it has to offer. After many times of working with him at my Godparents house doing yardwork or cutting the grass where my dad works, I've learned never to give up. Schnieder was my cross-country coach when I wanted to go out for it in High School and kept me motivated to run in Junior High.

This was the guy that I spent my weekends with, just watching TV or talking to for hours upon end. This is the guy that taught me to ride a bike and to be a little adventourous. And this is the guy I can still go to whenever life isn't treating "Stevo" so well.

One day when we were having lunch at Subway, he told me that he doubts we'll still know each other when we're 30. So far, I've proved him wrong. Though I don't see him much, I'm very much indispensable as I don't think he'd pass most of his classes without me.

Schnieder, you'll always be the pale little german kid from Wisconson with a big nose. Stay in touch!

Nick Neiderkorn

I met Nick when I was in Seventh grade. I was a crazy, little-bit out of touc with reality, 12 year old who had grandiose greams of scoring it big with an invention idea I've been sending out to Adidas, Reebok, and Nike. One day, he IM'ed me and we've been business parents and friends ever since. Nick's not like any other guy I've ever met. He's a genius when it comes to computers, a voyeristic pimp when it comes to the ladies, a thug when it comes to his personality, but a good guy either way.

Much of our friendship is based on me always being the CEO/President of whatever project we're working on, and him taking orders from me. Yeah, it was sorta nice having the ability to be in charge of a kid who was four years older than I was. But nick never minded.

We went out on the venture capital quest. I spent an entire summer working on a business plan for Godsport, a online portal for athletes. I don't think I ever learned so much about the business world, how to do financial statements and do due dilligence on an industry. OUr plan was incredible and our revenue model was inspiring. Every Venture Capital firm on the east coast was contacted, but to much avail nothing happened.

Nick and I met David, our soon to be investment banker. Nick sent him $5,000 dollars for a retainer and we were apart of a merger. Thing things started to get get funny. Bipolar Disease.

When we were working on Paidzero, we thought we scored it big. Nick was planning on moving to West Virginia and going to school at WVU. We even had our bachelor pad picked out at Greystone, a nice 1.5M dollar estate. I thought everything was going to be great.

Nick was like my big brother. And for the most part, its his friendship that helped me get through most of junior high and high school. Nick gave me this amazing hope that He and I could accomplish anything, and we really thought we could. Our utlimate plan? A private island in the south pacific with a Learjet and Jennifer Anniston. How could it be better?

The FBI sort of runined all of our plans and our friendship. And still to this day, all of it is a little hazy and was so confidential that I'm not even sure why I was involved in a case about international money laundering. The amount, undisclosed because you wouldn't even believe me.

Nick and I still talk, but everything is different now. He's on with bigger and better things. He's opening his own hooka bar in Texas with Ruchit, the ceo of Clickzen. Nick's still there for support. And he will always be part of my "eternal staff." When Arenatrips.com launches, he's on the staff immediately. And we can, once again, begin our amazing plans. But as nick always says "Am I my brothers keep? Heck no! We'll meet at the top."

Max "Cli-Max" Neubauer

I hated my highschool and my Dad letting me go to Linsly kept my alive my sophomore year. Linsly is a small boarding prep. school in Wheeling, WV. We competed with them before at debate tournaments. All of the students seemed so smart, and more importantly close-knit.

Max was one of the three students from Linsly that I met and immediately became good friends with. Lighting Neubauer was the quientessential prep school kid. He was the biggest player I ever met and drove a red dodge viper. I started talking to him, like pauper, and felt like I knew him forever.

Having met him made me want to go to Linsly even more and not even look back at leaving Fairmont Senior. Max and I made plans for the summer, of spending it at Deep Creek Lake, MD with Christy and her friends, and the many parties we were going to have in the dorms with the exchange students.

He broke all the stereo-types of a preppy kid. He's still one of the nicest guys I know. Max is a nice Christian guy, who's supportive of my efforts for launching Inlightmagazine.

Max is a senior this year. I don't know where he's off to, probably Wheeling Jesuit where his brother went, but I wish him the best. Hey dude, if you read this .. thanks for everything you've done for me. You probably don't know half of it, but I wish you the best of luck in the future.

Melissa Hitchens

Like Max, Melissa goes to Linsly and when I met her, it made the school even better than it already was. Melissa made it seem like heaven.

She's the girl I fell in love with and found to be perfect. She was smart, witty, bilingual, articulate, loved debating, loved punk music, and she was a prep-school cheerleader and ballerina. She still is perfect.

To this day, she still is my best girl-friend I will ever have. Everytime, and I do mean everytime, I've had a problem she always made it better. Even if I complain about the same old thing day after day, she's there listening. And she knows that I'm for her to. When Brandon broke her heart, I was there to cheer her up.

Though we had some fights and some bouts of long, unexplained dissappearances, we know what we had in the past and continue to look for in the future.

If I had been at Linsly, she would have been my girlfriend, my highschool sweetheat. She'd be the girl I'd ask to marry on graduatiion night in College.

Melissa, I LOVE YOU! And you will get your letter.

Michael "MP" Perry

MP's difficult to explain. He's 16, a sophomore at Fairmont Senior High School. I met him trhough my Church youthgroup. And him and I have been best friends, practically brothers ever since.

I'm his big brother, life-saver, therapist, and at times personal slave. He's definitely a unique person, in that you'll never ever met anyone like him. He's a mix of being a complete moron to being deep and sincere.

What he's done for me is not as signifigant what I've done for him. If I had to count the things he's done for me, it would only be on one hand. But its never been a mutual thing.

MP couldn't get through life without me. Every crisis, every problem, every breakup, every unbearable homework assignement, everytime he's ever gotten himself into a problem, I've been there for him. Late night phone calls to spending my last free day of summer vacation helping it, its been an endless campaign.

But am I complaining? Absolutely not! Michael and I, also called the dynamic duo or just simply M2, have only been friends for about a year but its been a great year. Theres so many weird stories I'd love to tell here, but many of which I've gotta take to the grave. Mike's one of the few guys whom I'm not afraid to act like a complete retard toward or feel embarrased about anything. And I definitely know its mutual, just mention "Gingerbread Men" or ask him about his sleepwalking stories and you'll see why.

Mike and I are going to be best friends until He died. (We already decideded he's gotta go first because I'd give a better speech.) Both him and I are wanting to go into ministry, him being a preacher and I being a youth minister. Inlightmagazine.com is the begining of our many future projects.

Brother, if you read this...LAYABA.

Mara "nubbies" Wilson

Like Melissa, Mara was one of those girls that have meant the world to me because they've just been incredible friends. And of course, I naturally fell in love with them because thats just the way it works when your around incredible people.

But I shouldn't have fell in love with Mara. She and Michael were boyfriend and girlfriend. And during this time, She and I got really close as friends. With Mara, I never had to worry about not having a smile on my face because she always put on there.

She was the greatest girl to talk to about anything, even if its nothing in particular. I think when she broke up with Michael, I was as depressed as he. I spent alot of effort trying to keep them together.

Still today, though Mara has boyfriend named Doug, she and I still talk when we can. And I sincerely hope that me and nubbies stay friends forever. And I hope that doug treats her like she should be treated, as a gorgeous princess.

Chauncey "Pauper" Johnson

Pauper's a best friend. And its because of him that I believe that all of our personal friendships are for a reason. My sister and Chauncey has been friends for a long time, but it wasn't until I saw a flash movie on newsgrounds did I start talking to him.

And its been like we've been old friends ever since. Chauncey's a little crazy sometimes and maybe even a little schizo, so I'm there to calm him dow and tell him to think logically. I've already helped him out with some difficult situations, like Emily. He told me I've already saved his life and changed it dramatically. So I guess whatever I'm doing, its working.

Chauncey's from Mo-town, sophomore, and goes to MHS. He's sort of notorious with the chicks because he's practically dated almost all of them in his class. But he's a good guy, I swear.

Rapper. Animator. Football Player on the weekends. But his favorite thing to do is chill in an Igloo or make a mess on the floor. Inside Jokes.

We've got plans for a party house soon. He's coming to FSC. And this summer, hopefully, we'll be chilling on the Outer Banks.

Sabrina "Brina" Wellspring

It seems like every girlfriend of MPs I've become good friends with. And Sabrina is definitely no exception. Michael and She have dated on and off for the last two years, mostly hooking up at summer camp. If you see Sabrina, ask how they met --- MP knocked a tooth of of Sabrina's mouth during a Shaving Cream Battle.

Since I've met Sabrina, Michael and I've spent many weekends at her house in Ohio with the "brady bunch" family of Jim, Shonnie, Willy, Lance, Seth, Rich, Connie, and Shonnie's friend Carla. Lots of good laughs, like the story of strattling an ethiopian or gingerbread men who live in the rolling plains with the red lions.

But Sabrina is probably the sweetest girl I've met. Constantly, she's always seeking to do whats right and what's Christian. Her family is the perfect example of how a family should be. MP and I joke about this alot. We're in the Twilight Zone!

But all joking aside, Sabrina's always there to just talk to me when I'm having a bad day or I'm angry with MP. Both She and I have the same interests ahead of us, and if you ever need some spirtual encouragement or want someone to talk about Christianity with, it's her.

She's not like most girls I've met in Youth Rally's. She's nice, but she's real. Its not a fake facade that some people put on. And she's funny.

Brina, you've been great. And I'm sorry I'm not going to be your best man at you and MP's wedding and send you two to Italy. Love ya.
