After their week long stay in Colorado, the group packed up and headed to the Bahamas. After making it there, they left the hot airport and went to their condos they rented. The taxis they were in carried them to the central office where they would pick up their keys and get directions.
Lily stood waiting to go to her and Brian's condo while Brian stood and talked in hush tones to the manager. Lily watched as the manager nodded at what Brian was saying and then walked back behind his desk, picked up another key and then return to Brian and give it to him while taking another of the keys from him. Brian smiled at the man and turned back to the rest of the guys. He handed all of the guys a key and they all headed back to their taxis.
Kevin shared a taxi with Brian and Lily and Brian instructed the driver to drop Kevin off at his condo first. They rode silently the mile and a half to Kevin's condo and as they pulled up to it, Brian insisted on getting out and going in with Kevin.
Kevin put the key in the lock and unlocked the door and they all three walked in as the cab driver waited outside. Kevin entered first and looked around the large house. Brian and Lily followed close behind, looking around also. Kevin walked into a separate room and Brian and Lily heard him gasp. Brian's face broke into a grin as the two of them followed Kevin into the other room.
Brian stood in the doorway and grinned as they watched Kevin run his hands along the white grand piano that was in the middle of the room. Kevin looked up from the piano to Brian and a grin spread across his face. Lily inwardly gasped at the pure beauty of his smile and his eyes as they danced with happiness.
"I figured you could use this since you don't have your keyboards." Brian stated, leaning up against the doorway with his arms crossed across his chest.
"How did you arrange this?" Kevin asked.
"I just asked that manager if there was possibly a condo with a piano in it and he said yes there was. This one and one other one that was already taken. I just offered him more money and he let me have it."
"Thanks Brian." Kevin said as he crossed the room and enveloped his cousin in a brief hug before he went back to the piano and sat down on the bench. As he started running his fingers over the keys, Brian signaled to Lily and they left the room and the condo, going to their own.
***************
A couple of hours later, they all met each other on the beach for a swim. As they all set their stuff down and set up their 'camp', Lily took off her shorts and tank top and stood in her bathing suit.
Kevin looked up from the beach towel he was arranging on the sand and inhaled a sharp breath. Her dark brown, two piece bathing suit hugged her body and fit her curves perfectly. Trying to get his mind off of her, he sat down on his towel and averted his gaze.
"Are you coming swimming with me Brian?" Lily asked sweetly.
Brian shook his head while Kevin thought that he could deny her nothing if she asked him like that. "I think I'm going to stay here on the beach for a while, you go ahead."
Lily's disappointment was evident on her face and before she could ask anyone else to join her, Howie jumped up from his towel. "I'll go swimming with you." he said.
"Yeah, me too." AJ said and he too got up from his towel and followed Lily and Howie to the water.
"Hey, wait for me!" Nick called and hurriedly took his shirt off and through it on the ground as he ran after them.
Brian and Kevin watched them go and as soon as they were out of earshot Brian turned to Kevin with a worried look on his face. "Kev, can we talk?" Kevin nodded and Brian continued. "It's about Lily. Ever since we came on this vacation she's been acting different. I was hoping that when we came on this vacation we would take our relationship to the next level." Brain stopped and glanced over at Kevin. "We never...." he said slowly, motioning with his hands. Kevin nodded calmly but inside his heart was dancing. "Anyway," Brian continued "I was hoping to take our relationship to the next level but since we left Orlando, all we've done is fight. She seems to be on an extra short fuse here lately. Yesterday, we had a huge blowout fight because I left the toilet seat up. Things just aren't going like I planned." He stopped talking and gazed out to the sea where Lily, Howie, AJ and Nick were all in the water playing around.
Looking back at Kevin he said "I don't know how or when it happened but...I don't think she love me anymore."
Kevin closed his eyes as wave after wave of guilt washed over him. He knew that it was all his fault that Brian and Lily were having problems in their relationship, but part of him was estatic to learn that they'd never made love with each other.
"I'm sure she still loves you." Kevin heard himself saying. "Maybe now just wasn't the right time for this vacation."
Brian nodded but said nothing more as he saw the group heading back to shore. Kevin watched Lily walk toward him and felt chill bumps rise all over his body at the sight of her dripping wet body and swaying hips coming closer and closer to him.
Embarrassed at his body's reaction, Kevin flipped over on his stomach and attempted to get comfortable. After several tries he gave up. "How's the water out there, AJ" he asked.
"A little cold." AJ replied.
"Great." Kevin muttered and jumped up and hustled to the ocean. he jumped in and swam around for a while until he got tired. After he was finished, he walked slowly back to shore and saw that everyone was packing up. "We're going to get something to eat, Kev. Wanna come?" Nick asked. Kevin nodded and collected his belongings.
As they left the beach Kevin walked behind Lily and Brian and watched the sway of her hips as she walked. Shaking his head, he once again told himself that this was going to be one long vacation, trying to keep his hands off of her.
