"Fine!" Lily yelled as she slammed the door to the condo and rushed down the stairs. Her and Brian had just had another screaming fight and she wanted to get as far away from the condo as she could.
Looking up at the moon, Lily wiped a tear from her eye. She didn't know what was happening to them. All they did anymore was fight. Somewhere deep down inside of her she knew part of the reason for their fighting was her desire for Kevin and she also knew that her and Brian's relationship wasn't going to survive very much longer.
Lily walked along the moonlit beach, hanging her head and stewing over her thoughts. As she walked past another condo she heard the sound of soft music coming from inside. Looking up at the house she realized it was Kevin's condo. Going against her better judgment, Lily walked slowly to the sound of the music. She approached the back porch and traveled up the stairs. The sliding glass door was open and the sheer curtains were billowing in the wind. Lily stood at the open door and gazed in.
Kevin sat at the white grand piano, his fingers playing expertly against the keys, producing beautiful music. Lily watched mesmerized as Kevin closed his eyes and let the music flow over him. He played for several more moments before the beautiful song came to an end and he stopped.
Kevin looked down at the keys for only a moment before he heard the sound of clapping coming from the doorway. His head snapped up and he was welcomed by the sight of Lily standing in the doorway he'd left open. She wore a long blue and white wrap around skirt with a soft baby blue tank top and no shoes. Her skirt and hair were both blowing in the wind. He swallowed hard at the sight in front of him.
"That was beautiful Kevin." Lily said softly as she slowly walked forward. "I could never do anything like that."
"I could teach you." Kevin said impulsively.
"Really?"
"Yeah...come here and sit down." Kevin said and moved off of the bench so Lily could sit down. She sat and Kevin knelt on the floor close behind her.
"Put your hands on the keys." he whispered close to her ear. Lily delicately placed her hands on the keys and Kevin placed his over hers. Pressing down, Kevin taught her a simple rhythm. Kevin moved his hands away and watched her play out the notes he had taught her. He watched her long and slender fingers play delicately over the keyboards and feeling unable to contain himself any longer, he placed a soft kiss on her right shoulder. Kevin heard the piano playing stop but it didn't register as he placed several more light kisses on her shoulder and then moved to her neck.
Lily moaned softly as Kevin splayed his hand across her stomach and his lips moved to nibble on her ear.
Kevin stood and sat on the bench, pulling Lily across his lap and finding her lips with his own. He played with her lips ran his tongue over her teeth. Lily moaned again as Kevin ran his hand up her right side and settled on her breast.
"Lily." Kevin groaned. He stood again, this time with Lily still in his arms and his lips still ravishing hers hungrily. He walked with her in his arms and laid her gently on the bed and followed right behind and laid himself gently on top of her.
He moved his lips from hers and traveled down her neck to her collar bone. He moved his lips from her body momentarily to remove her shirt before returning his lips to her collar bone. His lips traveled down her chest, between her breasts to her stomach. His tongue darted in and out of her belly button and he slowly moved back up her body to recapture her lips.
"Lily..." he groaned again. "I need you Lily."
Lily understood his meaning and her only response was to pull him closer and run her leg along his. Kevin groaned again from deep within his throat and in an instant he had expertly removed both of their clothes. Lily moaned as Kevin seemed to touch every part of her body.
Kevin once again brought his lips back to hers and in one motion was inside of her. Lily called out but the sound was muffled by Kevin's lips. He brought his head up and they made eye contact as he started a steady rhythm that she easily followed. Breathing heavily, Lily closed her eyes and whispered his name. "Kevin." she whispered again.
The slow rhythm picked up speed as they came closer to their release and they were both panting for air and struggling to breathe. Kevin buried his face in the crook of her neck as they both came at the same time and shouted their release into the night.
They laid like they were for a few moments to regain themselves and moments later Kevin lifted his head to look into her crystal blue eyes. He opened his mouth to speak but before he could they heard a voice outside his condo.
"Kevin?" Brian called from the back door. Kevin jumped up from the bed and quickly pulled on a pair of jogging pants before hurrying quickly to the door.
He pulled the curtain covering the back door and met the worried blue eyes of Brian.
"Have you seen Lily?" he asked "We had a really big fight and she ran out and now I can't find her."
Kevin shook his head slowly. He hadn't even been aware that they had had a fight. "I'm sure she'll be OK." he said quietly. "She probably just went into town and got a motel room for the night. You'll see her in the morning, don't worry about her."
"Yeah, you're probably right. Thanks Kev." Brian said and turned and walked down the stairs and headed back to his own condo.
As soon as he was out of sight, Kevin slid the glass door into place and went back into the bedroom. As he entered it was to see Lily standing, putting her clothes back on. He walked over to her and placed his hands on her shoulders from behind. She jumped and pulled away from him. "What's the matter?" Kevin asked.
Lily turned around and Kevin saw that her face was streaked with tears. "What's the matter??" she said. "Kevin, don't you realize.....Brian..." she couldn't continue what she was saying over the lump of guilt in her throat.
"Sssh." Kevin said and moved closer to her. "Please, Lily. Just for tonight, there's no Brian. There's no one but me and you. Please." He began kissing her neck. "For tonight."
Lily closed her eyes and breathed a sigh. "For tonight." she whispered as Kevin picked her up and carried her back to the bed.
