I really like my stove. It's a Frigidaire Custom Imperial, a product of the General Motors Corporation, USA.  It's stainless steel - with two glass- doored ovens,  four burners that slide under the ovens, a griddle, florescent tube lighting, temperature probes... the whole works. It was built in the 50's, when women spent a lot of time in the kitchen, and engineers spent a lot of time designing products. It's really old, but it works just fine. It's really big: It's about six feet long and about six feet tall. The last time it was moved, it took five men. I had to have a whole wall of my kitchen redone to accommodate it. It's not going anywhere soon, I hope.
I love to cook, and I especially like to make food that I grew up eating. Here are some of my favourite recipes.
