Eli- I
can't believe how much things have changed, but stayed the same. I mean Isaac is letting the sadness he feels for Caly's leaving go to far and he has become like I was. Zirc and Tay are still together, yet no matter how close they get they are always separate. Zac, Lana, and Rose have matured greatly in different ways. Zac has now grown a serious side, though he still mainly shows a wisecracking hyperness. Lana's friendliness and compassion for others has shown a dramatic rise. Rose has matured to prove that her heart is way to strong for any controlling spell that Medwin can throw her way.
I think it is time to give Rose something her heart longs for; a new power. I think I still have a book that an old guy gave to me to help me change my power. Though I will give it to her like he did. He left it on my bed and I had to figure it out for myself.
Now time to bring Isaac back to reality, the hard way. After dropping the book off in Rose's room I found Isaac in his room sitting in almost complete darkness.
"What is wrong with you," I harshly ask him.
"What do you mean," he quietly asked back.
I replied with more harshness, "Even when I was moping around after Crystal I would at least leave my room. Plus, I did smile, some."
I doubt you or anyone else in this house knows what I am going through. So why don't you shut-up and get out of my room!"
"Let's see your girlfriend some how ends up away from you and you don't know where she is or if she is okay. From my experiences with Crystal I think I would be an expert on this stuff. Now get up and get out. I doubt Caly would date someone as pale and bony as you are now."
After that statement I left his room and headed up to mine. I had built me a new room in the attic when Adah came; so she could have a room. As I walked across the room a book fell off the shelves. I walked over and picked it up. I saw it was my spell book from when I was evil. As I looked at it curiosity got to me and I opened it and looked at a page. It was the one about the spell that I used to turn myself into a hawk, except unlike Dermott it turned me into a night hawk. Something came over me and I tried the spell out.
As the blue energy surrounded my body and as my body turned into that of a hawk the evil inside of me was unleashed. After the transformation was over I got the book in my talons and flew to the only place that I knew I could go while evil, Medwin's hideout in Skull Mountain.

It feels great to be back in my old home. I can't believe I saw anything in trying to live with those goody two shoes. Rose with her problems. Why would she ever want to leave the splendor and the greatness that came with being on Medwin's side.
'Probably because she didn't want to turn out to be an idiot like you,' the good side of Eli said.
'Shut up you insect. If you don't I will drain more of your precious energy. I am in control here. You will do my bidding or suffer the consequences. Which are your death and the death of all you love,' Eli's evil side warned.
'I will fight you until ever last drop of my energy is gone. You are not going to win,' The good side said while fighting.
I was struggling to gain control, but it was tough. The powers of lightening were the evil sides best weapon, plus he had full control of the lightening sword. I was working hard. After a few hits I found a flaw in his defenses and worked it to my advantage. I did it. He was trapped, but not for long some outside force was helping lower my energy while raising his. I have to contact someone fast.
'Lana, Rose, Zirc, Isaac, Taylor, Zac, anyone there. Please, answer I need you.'
'Eli!? What? How? Aren't you evil? What do you want?' Lana asked, very confused yet not really wanting to hear from me.
'Listen, I only have a few seconds till the evil side takes back control. Some outside force is strengthening my evil side and weakening me. It won't be long till I am gone for good. I need your help. get everyone to Mystic Isle. Everyone except Maeve. It is something you have to do on your own. There should be a map in one of my books in my room. Hurry I don't have much ti......'
'Listen you little fool. You even try to do anything to me and the side of me that you love will be destroyed. You got that,' The evil side yelled then closed the connection with Lana.
'And as for you. You try a stunt like that again and you will surely parish,' He warned. I just waited in the shadows of my mind and wonder what was going on here. Surely he could have destroyed me when he got the chance and got total control of my or should I say our body. But, there is something different about this side of me. It is not normal.
**Dermott**
I can't believe that my only link to people is gone. Eli and I were so close. I could not even feel his evil side coming. Something is definitely not right about it. As I pondered this thought I heard a noise coming toward Eli's room. It was Adah. What was she doing here. I waited to hear what she was thinking. Maybe they couldn't hear my thoughts, but I can surely hear theirs.
'Where would Eli have kept that book. He said on his shelves, but all these books are full of words and one of them has a ton of blank pages in it. Well, I will just have to burn them all,' Adah thought.
With that I took off and attack. She might have a power to lift stuff, but you can't lift what is being lifted. In sorcery terms that is. I went for her head. I kept on until she left. Then I flew straight to Lana's room. I hope she knows how to listen with her heart and not her ears.
When I got to her room she sat with Rose. I yelled as loud as I could telepathically and chirped loudly while flapping my wings. All that got me was a pillow throw in my direction. I had to try. So I perched myself on the bed and stared them both in the eyes.
'Listen to me. Can you hear me. Please say you can. Please hurry,' I telepathically said.
"Whoa Lana did you hear that," Rose said in amazement.
"What," Lana asked looking very confused.
"Dermott just asked if we could hear him and I can. What do you need Dermott? And isn't Eli the only one that can hear you," She asked.
'Sorry no time to go into all that. Just listen Adah was in Eli's room trying to find the book he told you about. Come on I have to show where it is now. She was going to burn it. It is now Eli's life that is in the balance. And if we lose our Eli then Medwin will be totally out of control. So follow me NOW!!!' I shouted.
"Come one Lana We gotta move," Rose said while running after me. We got to Eli's room and I showed them the book. It was the one that Adah said had a lot of blank pages, but when Lana and Rose opened it they saw words on every page except that last one. It was a map from the house to Mystic Isle.
'Lana, you get everyone together; that includes Shane. Rose you come with me we are going to go get a ship. We leave in a half hour,' I ordered as we split into our teams.
Next stop is to hopefully to get Eli back.
Lana
As we boarded the ship, I looked around for Maeve.
"Are you sure we should go without her?" I asked Shane with a worried voice.
"Lana! You know very well that you won't see her for a while... Maybe not ever again. Get over it!" Shane yelled, pulling up the anchor.

An hour or two later, I heard comotion coming from the deck above. As I slowly walked up the stairs, Medwin came into view. He was sabatoging the deck with his 6 powerful men.
"STOP!" I screamed, after yelling for the others to come on deck. "We know what you want, Medwin. But you know what? You aren't going to get it. We'll stop you, no matter what it takes."
"Oh yeah? You and what army?" Medwin snickered.
"This army." The others stepped up from behind me.
"We can take you on any day, Mr. Big Shot, and win with one hand tied behind our backs." Mariah shot back, obviously in the dark to who Medwin was, and how powerful he was.
"Well little girl. Guess what? You'll be the first to go!" Medwin raised his arm, and Mariah started to act as if she was choking, slowly falling to her knees, then the ground.
"Any volunteers?" No one stepped forward.
Medwin pointed towards me, as I stood still in pure fear. I felt a cold breeze flow around my neck, and then I felt pressure. Tons of pressure, geared towards what felt like my soul, my very being. Then, all of the sudden, Zirc screamed no, and ran towards Medwin, blasting a fireball towards him.
The fireball hit him, knocking Medwin to the ground and releasing the icecold grip he had on me. With out a glance, the rest of us ran towards him and started doing whatever magic we could on him, to take the evil out, or, if needed, to kill.
I looked back and realized Adah was fighting against us, trying to kill Rose.
"Adah! What are you doing!!" I screamed, lunging towards her. I punched and kicked as hard as I could, then finally, she fell limp. I grabbed her head, then twisted as hard as I could, making sure that I could do as much damage as possible.
"Oh my Lord... How did you know it was her that was evil instead of me?!" Rose gasped.
"Lucky guess." I muttered, kicking one of the men in the face, breaking his nose and making the bone go up into his brain.
"One down, a whole system of evil and one ocean to go." I thought to myself, hoping that my brother was ok.
