RiptideRIPTIDE
Extreme Champion
Apr. 6, 2005 - Aug. 3, 2005

The first Extreme Champion was to be crowned at the PWF's debut to pay-per-view, No Escape. In a match that witnessed a true "coming out party" of sorts for SCW and NOWF veteran Riptide, he eliminated competitor after competitor, last eliminating Raven with a Tidal Wave through a table on his way to becoming the match's sole survivor and the PWF's first Extreme Champion.

During Riptide's amazing four-month reign as Extreme Champion, he obviously impressed Eric Bischoff, so much so that he would earn an opportunity to headline August's pay-per-view, La Mala Sombra, taking on legendary Excellence for the Federation Championship. Unfortunately for Riptide, being the Extreme Champion, he was forced to pull double-duty, not only facing Excellence in the main event for the sport's top-prize, but also defending his own championship against The Undefeatable Chris Jericho and six other men.
