NO ESCAPE
2006

After a year of exciting PWF action, it was time to see what the new year was going to bring. At No Escape on Apr. 12, PWF fans learned to watch for the unexpected. Early in the program, it was the return of a former PWF superstar that would prove to be the first surprise of the night. Later on, the Masked Men's eight-month reign as Tag Team Champions was finally put to an end in a rematch with Money Talks -- a new tag team comprised of Razor Ramon and "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. Shane Douglas also made waves in his rematch with Intercontinental Champion Lance Storm, trying to silence all doubts that he could not defeat the Canadian Superman.

It was the double main event that would hold the biggest surprise of the night. The struggle between the New Breed and the Perfect Team was scheduled to come to a head in Detroit, with Excellence battling long-time rival Taz in a sure-to-be brutal No Disqualification match and PWF Champion Mr. Perfect taking on Raven in the unforgiving structure that is the Doomsday Cage.

Shortly after Excellence's vicious war with Taz, he was confronted by the man that had screwed him out of the PWF Championship six months earlier at WrestleFest -- the "man in black." Who this mysterious figure was revealed to be, and who his allies were, may go down in wrestling history as the biggest surprise of them all. By the time No Escape had concluded, the landscape of professional wrestling was -- without question -- changed forever.
