Saturday Night SlamMasters (11.30.05)

Live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV

(A video montage appears on the tron recapping the last SlamMasters. It shows everything from the U.S Title Match to the Fraquelity win. “ Take Me Home” by Bone Thugs & Harmony blasts over the arena’s sound system as dozens of fireworks explode in the EPWA entrance way. The roar of the fans is nearly as loud as the explosions. The camera pans from the entrance way to the sea of fans, many holding signs supporting their favorite EPWA superstars, or mocking the ones they dislike.

The camera cuts to the announcers table, where announcers Josh Lasko and Lian Niko are seated. Josh quickly shuffles through the papers on the desk and looks up at the camera. Lasko, however, is looking at one of his fingernails, which he proceeds to bite and rub on the lapel of his jacket.)

Josh: It’s that time again, ladies and gentlemen! Saturday Night SlamMasters is back for another action-packed thrill ride. I’m your host, Josh Lasko, and I’m here with my colleague, Lian Niko.

Lian: Thank You Josh and what a night we have in store for you as Phoenix, the newly crowned U.S.A Champion, will defend his title against the newcomer Jason Blade and then the main event of the evening... The Demon, Embalmer and Fraquelty will face off for the grandest prize here in the EPWA... the North American Heavyweight Title.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EPWA U.S.A Title Match

Phoenix(c) vs. Jason Blade

{This bout was pretty much one sided as Phoenix just totally dominated the challenger. After about 10 minutes of action, Phoenix finally put Jason Blade away with the 360 Phoenix Flip and retains his U.S.A Title}

Lian: That was a massacre as Jason Blade was taken to school by our U.S.A Champion Phoenix. Now we take you to our boss, Mr. Sharp, as he has an announcement on tonights main event.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Boss Interview

{A camera is shown in the office of EPWA Owner Shawn Sharp. He has a concerned look on his face as he addresses the fans of the EPWA.}

Sharp: Tonight it was supposed to be a triple threat match for the North American Title but do to an injury sustained in a House Show, Embalmer will not be able to make it tonight but the main event will still go on as The Demon will go up against Fraquelty. Thank You and enjoy the main event.

Lian: Sad words from the boss but the show must go on... and here we go with our main event of the evening!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EPWA North American Heavyweight Title Match

The Demon vs. Fraquelty

Luez Howard: Las Vegas, Nevada and EPWA fans around the country, it’s time for our Main Event!

Luez Howard: This bout is scheduled for one fall and is for the EPWA North American Heavyweight Title! Introducing first, challenger #1, He is from Dumbfries, England and weighs in at three hundred pounds... Fraquelty!!

(The arena turns to darkness and strobe lighting fills the arena. "Aneurysm" blasts over the p.a system and everyone goes wild. The lights suddenly turn back on and Fraquelty is standing at the top of the ramp posing for the crowd. Loud cheers fill the arena as hge makes his way to the ring. He slides into the ring and poses for the crowd once more and waits for his opponent.)

Luez Howard: And his opponent, challenger #2, He hails from parts unknown and weighs in at two hundred and ninety eight pounds... He is a former NWF and WAE World Champion... he is the Monster... DEMON!!

(Demon makes his way to the ring. He climbs the steel steps and enters the ring.)

{Demon gets blindsided by Fraquelty, who goes berserk with a series of punches, chops, and headbutts.}

Josh: Fraquelty doing some dominating of his own early on, here. He sends Demon into the ropes and flips him over with a Kitchen Sink knee to the gut. Now he’s pummeling Demon with some lefts and rights.

Lian: Fraquelty is going to take home the title, I have a feeling. There’s no way anybody can beat him!

{Fraquelty yanks Demon off the mat and whips him into the corner. Demon bounces off the turnbuckle from the ferocious impact and receives a back body drop from Fraquelty. Fraquelty hits Demon with a fist drop and goes for a quick pin. Demon kicks out at one. Fraquelty pulls Demon to his feet again, then plants him on the mat again with a powerslam that shakes the ring. He goes for another pin, but Demon gets his foot on the rope, causing the break. Fraquelty, angry, confronts the ref. After arguing with the ref, he turns to face Demon, who is already on the offensive. Demon hits Fraquelty with an elbow to the bridge of the nose, bounds off the ropes, and hits a flying forearm shot. Fraquelty doesn’t go down, he just stumbles. Demon continues the attack, hitting Fraquelty with some knife-edge chops and a knee to the stomach. Demon attempts a snap suplex, but Fraquelty reverses and drops Demon onto the top rope. He then hits Demon with a series of forearm shots and punches.}

Josh: Demon is definitely too big for Fraquelty to overpower. He outweighs him by several pounds!

Lian: As much as I don’t like Demon, though, he does have a champion’s heart.

Josh: Somebody pinch me, Lasko said something thoughtful! Ouch!

Lian: You asked for a pinch, jerkface, and you got it.

{Fraquelty backs up, then hits Demon with a wicked kick to the head that sends Demon flying off the rope to the outside of the ring. Fraquelty follows Demon to the outside. He kicks Demon in the ribs twice, then shoves him into the guard rail. Fraquelty rolls him back into the ring, continuing his attack. Fraquelty scoops up Demon and hits a bodyslam. He stomps on Demon’s chest, then bounces off the ropes and goes for an elbow drop. Demon rolls out of the way, and Fraquelty hits the mat hard. Demon kicks Fraquelty, then hits him with a neckbreaker and goes for the pin. Fraquelty kicks out with force after a one count. Demon rolls back and lands on his feet, and Fraquelty climbs to his feet. Demon charges Fraquelty, who ducks, but Demon rebounds off the ropes and hits Fraquelty with a jumping spin kick. He scrambles to the turnbuckle and climbs to the top. He waits for Fraquelty to rise to his feet.}

Josh: Demon going for the high risk moves that he likes to use. The fans love it, too, but this early in the match could be a big error on Demon’s part.

{Once Fraquelty rises, Demon leaps off the turnbuckle for a flying Hurricanrana. He lands on Fraquelty’s shoulders and tries to overtake him, but Fraquelty uses his power to hold Demon in place. He turns to the middle of the ring and hits a nice sit-out powerbomb. Rather than going for the cover, which could gain him a quick victory, he rolls away from Demon and stares out into the crowd.}

Josh: Fraquelty has completely lost focus after that beautiful reversal into a powerbomb! What is he thinking?

Lian: I don’t know if he thinks at all, Josh, he’s an animal! A dangerous animal, at that.

{Fraquelty is still in a daze, and he fails to realize that Demon is climbing to his feet. Demon shakes his head, trying to clear the cobwebs, then hits Fraquelty in the back with a dropkick. Fraquelty hits the turnbuckle face first, then turns around. His face is red with angry. He takes a wild swing at Demon, missing by about a foot. Demon dodges another punch, then kicks Fraquelty in the midsection. He Irish whips him into the opposite corner, following immediately with a dropkick to the face.}

Josh: Demon calls that lightning fast combo “Demon's Anguish,” and that’s precisely the effect it has on you.

{Wobbly, Fraquelty steps into the middle of the ring. Demon flies off the ropes and plants Fraquelty face first with a bulldog. He tries for a pin, but Fraquelty breaks out after a two count. Demon pulls Fraquelty to his knees, but is surprised by a low blow. Demon falls to his knees, and Fraquelty hits him with three headbutts in a row. Demon seems to be out of it on the mat. Fraquelty picks Demon up and hits him with a DDT and attempts a pin. The ref slides into position, but only delivers a two count before Demon gets out. Demon gets to his feet, only to get some punches from Fraquelty. Fraquelty whips Demon to the ropes and tries to pick him up for a spinebuster. Demon breaks free, however, lands on his feet, and bounds off the ropes on the other side of the ring. He misses a clothesline attempt and continues on, bounces off the ropes again. Fraquelty also bounces off the ropes and dismantles Diesel with a Clothesline from Hell!}

Josh: A wicked clothesline could put Demon away! We may have a new champion!

{Fraquelty covers Demon, but once again, he only gets a two count. Frustrated at this point that he can't beat Demon, Fraquelty slides outside the ring and grabs a steel chair. He enters the ring just as Demon is getting back to his feet. Fraquelty then poises to hit Demon as he turns around but gets a big boot and a chair to match. Stumbling around, Fraquelty turns around to only be scooped up by Demon... DEMON DROP.... DEMON DROP. Demon then pins Fraquelty as the ref counts...1...2...3}

Josh: OH MY GOD... DEMON HAS DONE IT!!!

Lian: WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION... AND HE IS THE DEMON!!!!!!!

Luez Howard: Ladies and Gentlemen... the winner of this bout... AND THE NEW EPWA NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION..... THE DEMON!!!!!!!!!!!!

{Demon stands in the middle of the ring with his newest prize in his career... the EPWA North American Heavyweight Title. Fans explode with cheer as Demon still can't believe he has done the impossible. Cameras fade to black on the best SlamMasters to date. Then the words See You Next Week appear along with the logo.}
