Matt curled up in a ball
in the middle of the sofa. He was in shock after Jeff's outburst. Jeff had
never been this protective of anybody. Matt hugged his knees and rocked
himself back and forth as the tears streamed down his face. His heart was
breaking at the thought of losing Leah and Jeff.
Deep down he knew Jeff was
right, he did think of Leah as his but he never thought her made it known. He
never wanted to hurt her. He loves her. He had never told a woman before that
he loved her. She was the only woman he wanted. Amy was making it so
complicated. If what Jeff said was true about Amy and Lean being in love then
he knew he would lose her. She wouldn't want him after this. Not after the way
he let his ego and over possessiveness hurt her and now lose her.
He let himself fall onto
his side and he cried into the sofa cushion.
"Calm down
angel." Jeff said as he sat on the bed with Leah in his arms. She was
again upset at what Jeff had told her about Matt. Amy sat behind Leah stroking
her forehead. Leah had hold of one of Amy's hands and the other was
around Jeff's neck. "Matt will figure out what he's done." Jeff said
as Leah held on tighter to him.
"What...what if he
doesn't?" Leah asked as she lifted her head.
"He will angel. He
loves you. He'll see his mistake."
"I hope so
Jeffy." Leah said as lat her head back on his chest.
"Maybe I should
go." Amy said from behind Leah. Leah's head snapped up and she turned to
Amy.
"Don't go,
please." Leah asked as she reached out for Amy, who was only more than
happy to go into the arms of the redhead in front of her. "I want you
here." Leah said as Amy placed her arms around her.
"If your sure."
"I am. And i'm fed up
with crying of Matt god damn Hardy!" Leah said getting of the bed.
"how about we get some junk food and watched movies all night?" Leah
suggested and Amy agreed and Jeff said he would go out to get some snacks but
Leah said she needed air and she would go. She walked out of the house and was
heading to the shop that was just around the corner. But instead of turning
left she turned right and headed to where she knew Matt was.
She took a deep breath and
knocked on the door. Moments later Matt answered the door rubbing his red
eyes. He looked at her.
"I don't wanna argue
Matt. But I have been thinking and I need to say this." Leah said taking
another deep breath. "I love you Matt, you know that but you also
know I love Jeff...and Amy. If you can't except that I do then your not the
person I thought you were and if you do hate the idea of my and Amy so much
then you obviously don't love me because if you did you would except it and
let me be happy with her."
Matt looked down from
Leah's face as more tears stained his face. "You know I love you. How
could you say that I don't?" He said as he took Leah's hand and pulled
her into the house. "We have been together for two months and I have
never loved a person more than I do you. You have my heart Leah. Please don't
break it."
"I didn't Matt. You
did that yourself."
"Leah it was a shock
to walk in and see my girlfriend in bed with a woman who happens to be one of
my best friends."
"I love you
matt." She said as she placed a hand on the door handle as she went to
leave but Matt pushed the door shut and took her hand.
"Then don't let
another one of your loves end ours."
"That isn't up to me
Matt. That is your call."
"I know. And I want
to be with you more than anything in the world. Please, let us try again. I
don't ever want to lose you."
"I don't want to lose you Matt." Leah said as she ran into Matt's
open arms. He held her tighter than he ever thought possible. He lifted her
from her feet and swung her around.
"I'm sorry for being
an ass." He said as he placed her down.
"Can you except me
and Amy?"
"I can in time. Just
give me time ok?"
"Yeh, I will. I
love you." she said as she kissed him. "Come on, I'm supposed to be
getting snacks for a night of movies.
"Why don't you stay
here? I want to make it up to you properly."
"Tempting....very
tempting...." She said smiling and kissing him again.
"You know you want
to. We have been alone for ages."
"I know I want
to." She said as Matt swooped her up in his arms and carried her up the
stairs.
