"OH god
Jeff!!!!!" Leah screamed as Jeff massaged her shoulders. "Are you
trying to kill me?" she yelled as she made him get of her.
"No." He said
looking hurt.
"I'm sorry sweetie,
but it kinda hurts when you do it that hard."
"Sorry." He said
as he wiped his towels on a towel.
Jeff, Leah, Matt and Amy
where at Leah's house out by the pool. The sun was setting and they all still
had their swimming stuff on.
Leah and Matt had been dating
for a couple of months and Jeff had just broken up with his girlfriend Beth.
Amy was dating Shane Helms. Matt and Jeff were both bi, and they were in love,
with each other.
Amy was staying at Shane's
house that night so she was getting all of her stuff together, Matt was
helping her as Leah and Jeff were out by the pool.
"How are you doing
Jeff?" Leah asked as she went over to the still glum looking Hardy.
"Ok." Jeff said
looking up.
"Why don't you tell
me how you feel Jeff? I know I'm not Matt but i thought i was your
friend."
"You are Leah. I
just...don't really wanna talk about it."
"But you wanted to
end it with her didn't you?"
"Yeh I did."
"Look, can i ask you
something?"
"Sure."
"Does she know about
you and Matt?"
"No." He said
looking up to Leah.
"Then why are you
some upset?"
"Because I realised
that I was alone. Matt has you."
"Yeh and you have him
too. He loves you Jeff, more than a brother."
"I know but, it's not
exactly a normal relationship."
"I know."
"Are you ok with
it?"
"Of course, you know
I am. I've told you a hundred times."
"I know but..."
He trailed off.
"But what Jeff?"
"You always seem to
tense up when me and Matt spend time alone."
Leah looked away from Jeff
and walked to the edge of the pool and sat down before sliding in.
"Leah." Jeff
said as she ducked under the water. He walked to the pool edge and waited for
her to surface. When she did he looked down at her as she looked up to him.
"Are you going to tell me why?" He asked as he sat on the edge of
the pool with his feet in the water.
"Jeff, it's nothing.
You are just being paranoid." Leah said as she swam to the other side of
the pool.
"What you guys
talking about?" Matt asked as he came back out to the pool.
"Nothing much."
Jeff said as he watched Leah swimming.
Matt sat by Jeff and
kissed him lightly before turning to look at Leah who had got out of the water
the other side of the pool and was now walking back around to some of the sun
lounges. She sat down, oblivious to Matt's presence and sipped her drink
before lying her head back and closing her eyes.
Matt looked at Jeff, who
shrugged before looking back to Leah, who sighed heavily.
"Baby." Matt
said as he got up and went over to her. Leah opened her eyes and looked up at
Matt who smiled down over her. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She
said smiling.
"I can see though you
Leah, tell me." He said sitting down by her legs. "Come here."
He said as he took her hand and pulled her onto his lap. Leah lay her head on
his shoulder and sighed as he held her. "Now, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. I already
told you."
"Leah..."
"I'm just a bit tired
Matt. Nothing else I promise."
"If you are
sure."
"I am baby. But
thanks for the concern." She said pecking him on the cheek.
Jeff got up from his place
by the pool and sat down beside them. "Leah, can I talk to you for a
second?"
Leah looked at Jeff and
back to Matt. Before nodding. Matt released her and excused himself and went
into the house.
"What Jeff?"
Leah asked as she stood up to put some space between her and Jeff.
"Why are you acting
like this?"
"Like what?"
"You were fine until
I asked you about me and Matt."
"I'm just tired
Jeff."
"Cut the crap
Leah." Jeff said standing up.
"Do you have a
problem with me and Matt?"
"NO!!!! For the last
bloody time Jeff I don't have a problem with you two."
"Calm down."
"No Jeff. if you two
ask me that one more time then maybe it won't be ok. Maybe I want Matt to
myself. Maybe I want to spend sometime alone with my boyfriend, but is that
such a crime?"
"Leah, if you want
Matt to yourself then you will have to fight me for him."
"Fine Jeff. I want
Matt to myself. I love him and I don't want to lose him. I know you two are in
love but what about me? What about all the nights I lay alone because he's
with you, his brother, instead of me, his girlfriend."
"I'm sick of this
Leah. You said it was ok bye you. For what was it? The hundredth time?"
"Maybe it was Jeff.
But I'm losing Matt to you and I don't wanna lose him. You and him have been
getting so close. I just feel in the way. Maybe I should just let you two be
happy. No, actually that would be to easy. I love him, I'm going to fight you
for him. The war is on Jeff!!"
"I don't want to
fight you for him. he loves us both."
"But it's not
working. He can't have us both. And if I make him choose I know I'm the one
who would be spending all my nights alone." Leah shouted as she turned
around, she froze when she saw Matt standing there. The tears where streaming
down her face. she looked into his eyes, but she knew he couldn't forgive her
after saying those things to Jeff. She ran past him and up to her room where
she locked herself in, ready to spend eternity alone.
