Chapter 5

Jeff watched in amazement as Kaci Copeland wrestled with Jason Reso, the woman showing strength he never knew she had. Snapping out of it, he closed his mouth, edging softly round Kaci and Jason and to Adam's side, quickly un-tying him and taking the cellotape from his mouth. As he lunged forward to help his sister, Adam Copeland's eyes grew wide. His heart near on stop beating as he saw the scene infront of him play out, an anguished cry escaping his lips.

"KACI!" He watched as his little sister fell to the floor, blood escaping her mouth, her eyes wide, her hand flying to her stomach as blood seeped through her fingers. Enraged, he turned his eyes on his life long friend, leaping forward and hitting him hard in the mouth, causing him to fly backwards and hit his head. Losing consciousness. He turned to Jeff, his friend staring at Kaci's body, fear in his eyes whilst sadness marred his features.

"Jeff, get her out of here and to a hospital, now." Jeff nodded, leaning down and picking her up, moving up the basement stairs with speed he didn't know he possessed. As Adam turned back, Jay lunged at him, the knife slicing through his skin into the top of his thigh. Adam howled in pain, flying back and hitting the boiler, causing himself to go dizzy. Gritting his teeth, he fought the dizzy, groaning slightly as he pulled the knife from his skin, feeling the blood pour down his leg. Jay lunged at him again and Adam held the knife up, piercing Jay's heart as he landed on it. He fell back, hitting the floor with a thud, his face contorted with pain, he whispered his final words to Adam.

"I'm sorry, Adam. I am. I hope Kaci's okay. I... I didn't mean to hurt her." Adam looked down at his dying friend with disgust. Spitting at him before he made his way up the stairs. Hoping between the three of them, if Kaci could, they would be able to explain this.

"Jeff, I'm not an invalid." Kaci Copeland told him playfully, as he placed in bed. "I can get in bed on my own, it's been three months now. I'm fine." Jeff nodded his head, getting into their shared bed beside her.

"Yeah, Yeah. You know you like it." She giggled, leaning over and kissing him, the kiss becoming more passionate as she moved her body on top of his.

"Um..." They broke apart quickly, looking up to the doorway to see Adam and Krissy. "Sorry to interrupt, but Kac, mom's sent your things." Kaci smiled, nodding at her brother as a thank you.

"So... your really living here with us?" She turned to Krissy, nodding in response to her question, smiling at the older woman.

"Yeah. But," she looked at Jeff, then to Adam and turned back to Krissy giggling. "These two are gonna have to do their fair share." Adam glared at her, pulling a laughing Krissy from the room as Jeff playfully smacked her arm. "Owww!" He grinned, pulling her to him and wrapping his arms round, watching a few minutes later as she feel asleep.

She was walking across the grass slowly, before she was suddenly moving on air, a power greater then the human mind can comprehend guiding her. She was gently pulled to a stop infront of a blinding white light and she shielded her eyes, waiting for the light to dimmer. As it did, she saw an image, coated with blood and smelling like death. Fear consumed her, she watched numb with fear as the image sharpened and a familiar figure appeared. Medium blue hair lying softly on a white pillow, a content smile on his face. The very essence of her soul became contorted with pain as the image went on, her mind numbing fear and terror overwhelming her. Another appeared, running his hand through the blue hair, before violently jerking the head up. His teeth shined in the darkness as he brought a silver object to the blue haired beauty's face. The image wavered and she closed her eyes, sorrow and sadness racking her body, she became surrounded with a sea of blood as the image disappeared, and with her last breath.... she screamed.

"JEFF!" Bolting up in bed.... Kaci Copeland screamed.
