Chapter 13

"Hey Chloe, I am glad you're back." Matt said happily, as he knew it was
Chloe walking through the door some three weeks after Leah and Chloe's
confrontation. "Can you come here?"

"Maybe if I knew where you were." Chloe said slightly laughing. "Want to
give me a clue?"

"The bathroom." Matt said laughing because it wasn't just a clue that he
told Chloe. He and Chloe were still growing closer and closer as the time
passed, loving every moment they had together.

"Uh Matt. not being rude or anything but if you are in the bathroom, I kind
of don't want to go see you right now." Chloe said knowing perfectly well
what he was doing. She saw Jeff getting branded by the N.W.O in the middle
of the ring. It wasn't half-predictable who was going to win the match when
it was Jeff against Scott Hall. But in the script, Scott Hall wanted to make
an impression, and Jeff was the example. But all the same, it was a great
thing for Jeff because he was doing so well.

"Come on!" Matt said laughing over Jeff's attempt of a soft laugh. "I've got
nothing to be ashamed of. The human body is a beautiful thing, especially
mine."

"No, not yours Matt. Just seeing you in pants is bad enough." Jeff said
braking his silence.

Chloe walked through the door and smiled seeing Matt basically drenching
Jeff's back with some sort of liquid. Jeff had his hair very high, obviously
knowing that the liquid could do something to the colour of his hair. Chloe
headed over to Matt and saw the red marks the liquid was giving Jeff around
the letters. Chloe swallowed hard as she just wanted to run the shiny liquid
off him with her hand, just to be able to feel his skin against hers.
Holding hands was so different and she needed more.

"I've got to get ready for my match so can you please wipe the letters off
with that cloth is the sink in say. two minutes?" Matt asked looking at his
watch.

"Uh. shouldn't Leah be doing this?"

"It's just rubbing the letters off his back. Nothing more." Matt said
putting the bottle in Chloe's hand and before she could object, he
continued. "She is having her match right now anyway, she can't do this and
it needs to be removed as quick as possible. That's why I called you here."

"But." Chloe said before Matt patted her shoulder.

"Thanks." He said walking out of the room before Chloe could even grab his
hand to stop him.

"You can go, I will do as much as I can." Jeff said wincing in pain as the
liquid burnt at his skin to remove the black letters.

"Yeah, that will work." Chloe said sitting down. "I'll do it. Just you
better explain this to Leah." She said crossing her legs. "It's really
hurting you isn't it?" She asked Jeff about the liquid as she read the
ingredients on the back of the bottle. "No wonder. This is full of
dioxides."

"Oh well." Jeff said sitting down. "As long as it takes it off."

An unsettling silence spread through out the room, knowing that the two
young wrestlers had tried to keep the talks to a minimum since Leah wasn't
still so sure of it.

"What have you been doing since we had our last talk?" Jeff asked, not
liking the sudden silence. The man with the orange hair couldn't just sit
there in total silence when the beautiful brunette was in the room. He had
wanted to tell her so many things, feelings he knew were there but no one
else even realised. How he wasn't sure if he should of even moved in when
the 'almost kiss' happened and even how he knew they had this bond that he
hadn't felt so strong with anyone recently. But he couldn't.

"Jeff, if you want to talk to me, just go ahead. We have another minute and
a half before I wipe that shit off your back." Chloe said cleaning her
nails.

"Chloe, I want to do our little walks again. I want to talk to you again."
He said moving so his back was slouched as his face was in his hands.

Why did he have to sit like that? It made him look even more irresistible
and made his eyes even more attractive. "That isn't my fault Jeff. After the
few walks and talks, I didn't hate them so much."

Jeff nodded. "But you aren't doing anything to get them back."

"That's because I would rather have my head at the end of the night. Jeff, I
have been keeping my distance from you to make you and Leah happy."

"I know and thank you but I should be allowed to have friends. If I can be
friends with Amy, why can't I be friends with you?" Jeff asked sitting up
again.

"I don't know. Maybe because Amy is in love with your brother or because she
isn't me."

"Leah isn't that bad." Jeff said smiling.

"Yeah I know. She is a nice girl, a real sweet heart but not when it comes
to me."

"You mean us." Jeff said smiling. "I've got something I need to tell you
Chloe. Something that I should have said a while ago, even before Leah and I
started dating, before I fell in love with her." Jeff said noticing Chloe
tense up as he crouched down in front of her, taking her small delicate
hands in his much larger ones, again, his touch gentle. "You need to loosen
up though Chloe." Jeff said massaging her hands to release the tension.

Chloe shook her body and moved her head from side to side, causing Jeff to
laugh. "Done." She said smiling at his soft sweet laugh. He was so adorable
as he concentrated and was holding her warm, fragile, small hands in his.
She wanted to free a hand and run it along his soft yet square jaw line but
she didn't want to make either of her hands leave the warm embrace of his
gentle hands.

"Chloe, you are a great friend." He said starting.

"You call me your friend?" She asked.

"Well yeah, you know more about me than other friends of mine." He said
smiling. "But anyway, I have really like our little walks. I feel I can tell
you anything I have on my mind."

"Really?" She asked smiling.

"Chloe, just hush." He said releasing one of her hands and putting a finger
to his mouth. How she wanted her lips to be his finger at that moment. "I
know I shouldn't be saying this, especially in a bathroom when we have toxic
fumes hovering about our heads from my back, but Chloe, I need to tell you
this." He said and before she could talk, Jeff covered her mouth with his
hand. "Chloe I think I." he started only to hear the annoying bell sounds
from the timer ring through his head.

"That's time." Chloe mumbled through Jeff's hand.

"I know." Jeff said standing up, knowing that if the liquid was left on his
tender skin for longer than instructed, it would eat into the soft skin
where it was located. He gently helped Chloe up from her seat when he handed
the piece of cloth to Chloe and she moaned, needed to hear his exact words.
But she knew if she did, in fact, hear his sweet words carry through the
warm air towards her; with the amount of love he had in his words, she knew
she couldn't ever see Leah again. Her guilt would be extremely high over
something she knew wasn't her accountability.

Chloe ran the cloth over Jeff's back, saying the letters as they were
removed from his back. "N." She said and looked at the WO left. "W." She
said then removed the O. "O." She said removing it all. She went to get
water to tip down his back, not realising that he might not want his pants
wet. "Jeff." She whispered and he turned his head so his ear was closer to
her.

"Yeah?" He asked just as quietly.

"This isn't easy." She said sighing.

"Is it still there?"

"No." Chloe said smiling. "Us and us not talking."

Jeff huffed. "Yeah I know."

"Then why do we do it?"

"Because I am dating Leah, Chloe. She doesn't like us walking out of
everyone's view and not hearing from either of us for hours. Personally, I
can't blame her."

"Why?" Chloe asked rubbing her hand over his back to get rid of the black.

Jeff laughed. "I guess you will never know." He said turning around and
looking at her teary eyes. "I didn't think you cared that much about us."

"Promise to keep something a secret?"

"Promise." He whispered smiling at her.

Chloe held his powerful hands in her delicate hands, not believing she was
about to do this. Jeff smiled at her, wanting to understand what on earth
she was talking about. She moved in closer to him, moving to his ear but
before she went the entire way, she looked at his soft, irresistible lips
then closed her eyes. She knew, at the increase of Jeff's heart he knew what
she was doing. She slowly moved over, towards his lips. He opened his mouth
slightly, awaiting the arrival of her tender lips on his own. Chloe brushed
her lips against his then repeated again, but with her tongue exchanging her
lips. Jeff opened his mouth more, letting her tongue enter his mouth as he
closed his eyes, sucking lightly on her soft and moist tongue.

Chloe moaned, running her hands over his silky orange hair and pulling out
the pigtails then running her hands through his hair as he lifted her top up
slightly, brushing his hand over her bare skin and over the tops of her
hips. He moved a hand to her cheek, now running his tongue into her mouth
then pulled back a little, resting his fore head against hers as their
mouths opened again, puffing as they caught their breath back. Chloe gave
Jeff another sweet kiss then smiled, getting her breath back through her
nose from the passion-filled kiss that she and Jeff shared.

"Sorry." She said breathing heavily, only too see Jeff smile in return.
