Chapter 6
“Come on Lita!!!!!!!!! Tag bluefire!!!” Matt and Jeff were shouting at ringside. Amy ignored them and carried on struggling in the middle of the ring. Jeff walked to the corner where Carly was standing. “Tag in!!!” he shouted as he pulled at her leg. She looked down at him and she just turned back to the ring, she then pulled her leg free from his hand. She banged her hand on the ring post, Matt and Jeff banged on the mat, trying to get the crowd behind Amy.
Amy hit Adam with a moonsault, and instead of covering him she tagged Carly in.
She ran to the corner where Jay was standing, she pushed him of the apron and climbed to the top rope, as Adam got to his feet she drop kicked him in the head, they both fell to the mat, she got up and met Jay as he climbed in the ring under the ropes, after a series of kicks to his back she felt her hair being pulled by Adam, he gave her a DDT, then kicked her down time and time again. She crawled to her corner to tag Amy but Jay grabbed her legs after he had been tagged in by Adam, he lifted her above his head and threw her over the ropes to the floor, she landed with a thud, her arm throbbed as she had landed on it, she tried to signal to Jeff but he turned away, she searched for Matt but he was on the other side of he ring seeing to Amy. As she got to her feet she was met by Jay’s cross-body from the top rope. She fell back to the floor, he landed on her arm, she cried out in out in pain, Jay didn’t seem to realise as he picked her up and rolled her under the ropes, she tried to role to her corner but Amy wasn’t there. Jeff then distracted the ref. As Matt climbed into the ring he gave Jay the twist of fate. He then ran to Carly he put his arms around her helping her to her feet, he pointed to the corner of the ring, the crowd went wild, she staggered to the corner and began to climb the rope as Matt got out of the ring and Jeff got of the apron, she steadied herself and stood up, she hit her summersault and pinned him. 1…. 2…. 3…. She and Amy became WWF tag team champions!!!! Matt got into the ring and helped Amy to her feet her kissed her and they hugged, Jeff went to Carly who was rolling on the mat in pain, he knelt over her and looked into her eyes, he could see her pain, not just the arm she was holding, he then remembered where they where and he helped her to her feet, he handed her a tag team belt and she got up and got on the ring post and held her belt above her head, Amy did the same. Matt and Jeff talked to each other in the middle of the ring as Amy and Carly changed corners. Matt got up on the rope behind Amy and Jeff got up and stood behind Carly, wrapping his arm around her waist and with his other hand he held her arm higher. The crowd all got to their feet and cheered and screamed their names. Carly put one arm down and rested in on Jeff’s hand that was still around her waist. She linked her fingers into his.
After going to all four corners they made their way out of the arena.
“I can’t believe you have another match after that!” Amy said as she laid on the floor in Carly’s dressing room.
“I know, I’m knackered, but I still can’t believe we are tag team champions!!!!”
She pulled on a clean top and she and Amy left the room, they went and waited backstage before Carly’s match against Joanie. Amy wished her luck and left her there, she lent against the wall and held her tag team belt in one hand and they other rested on her heart as she thought about Jeff. Joanie distracted her thoughts.
“Hey, you ready for this?”
“As, I’ll every be”
“Well, here’s what’s going to happen, well its simply the best wrestlers wins.”
“Cool.”
Joanie then walked out to the stage as her music began.
2 minutes later Carly’s music filled the arena, the crowd all got to their feet as she held her belt in the air, she made her way down to the ring and was met by Joanie.
