Andrew slowly began the long walk over to where Jessi and her sister, Glenda, were staying in the hotel.  They were there visiting him for a few days.

He knocked on the hotel room door and he could hear movement from behind the door.  Finally the door opened and Jessi greeted him with a smile.  "Hey, what's wrong?" she asked, her smile fading when she looked up at him.

"Can we talk for a moment, out here, in the hallway."  he quietly asked her, tugging nervously on his blonde hair.  She nodded and stepped out into the hallway, closing the door behind her.

"Jessi, I...you know I really care about you.  But...I...we....it's just not working out. I'm sorry." Andrew told her, trying to avert his eyes from her brown ones.

"What are you talking about?  Not working?  We were working out just find one hour ago!"  Jessi asked, confused and shocked.

"I...I..can't explain.  It just wouldn't work out between us.  I'm sorry.  I'm sorry.  I do care about you." he said but Jessi interrupted him.

"If you cared about me then you wouldn't be doing this, now would you?" she whispered, tears streaming down her face.  Then she slipped quietly back into her hotel room.

Andrew stared at the closed door, feeling a heart wrenching pain.  Slowly he walked back to his hotel room.  He dialed Alannah's cell phone number and told her voice mail that he would meet her tomorrow, in his room.
***
Alannah straightened her short black skirt and smoothed out her long, light brown hair before knocking on Andrew's door.  He opened it and his facial expression remaind blank as he gestured for her to enter his room.

His eyes traveled over her.  She was a good looking woman.  She stood about 5'9" and weighed about 155 pounds.  She wore the short black skirt and a white silk shirt.

She turned to face him with a smile.  "So...did you do it?" Alannah asked.  "yes, I did. I did exactly what you asked.  So, why don't we just end it here?" Andrew asked.

"I don't think so.  Dumping that little slut was only one part of the deal.  Andrew, darling, I want your money. Your name." Alannah explained in a condescending tone.

"You are such a little money grubbing bitch." Andrew spat out.  Alannah shot him a cold look.  "yes I am.  And don't you forget it Bastard." she snarled back before walking towards the door.

"Well make this a quick thing.  At city hall.  A week from now.  At home. Be there." with that she walked out into the hallway, slamming the door behind her.

As Alannah made her way down the hallway, she saw Glenda, Jessi's sister walking towards her.  Both women immediently narrowed their eyes at each other.  There was no love lost between the two of them.  Lately, whenever they met, words were exchanged...unkind words.

"And what are you doing here?" Glenda asked.  "I'm here to see my man, Andrew."  Alannah stated bluntly.  "He's not your man...in case you hadn't noticed, there's an ex in front of your title." Glenda reminded her.

"Not for long.  We are getting remarried in one week.  That's why I was in his room, to discuss it.  So shut your mouth, okay, Bitch."  Alannah bit out.

"Don't call me a Bitch. You are the only bitch here.  And why would he dump Jessi for you?" Glenda asked, looking her up and down with disgust.

"Because I'm better than your cunt-sister."  When Alannah said that, Glenda stepped up so she was only an inch from her.  Glenda stood 5'6 and a half inches and weighed 280 pounds.  She knew she could take Alannah if she wanted to.  But now, she wanted to talk to Andrew.

"I'll deal with you later, two faced whore." with that Glenda stalked off down the hall to Andrew's room.
***
Glenda stood in front of Andrew's door, knocked and then ran a hand through her mahagony hair that was streaked with pink.  Andrew answered the door with a dejected look on his face.

Glenda entered the room and looked at him carefully.  To put it nicely, he looked like hell.  "What's going on?  You break up with Jessi last night and now you are going to remarry Alannah?  what's happening?"  Glenda asked him quietly.

"News travels fast." was all Andrew muttered.  "I ran into Miss Slut of the Year outside.  She told me.  Andrew, talk to me."  Glenda gently commanded.

"There's nothing to tell."  he said, turning away from her.  Glenda grabbed his arm and forced him to turn towards her again.  She grabbed his face and forced him to look at her.  The moment his eyes met hers, his face crumbled.

"Oh God Glenda.  Does she hate me?"  he asked.  "No, she could never hate you.  But she is really hurting."  Glenda admitted.

"I had to Glenda.  You gotta understand that.  If I hadn't she would have been hurt more."  Andrew cried out.  "Andrew...what would hurt her?" Glenda asked.

"Alannah.  She doctored a tape to make it sound like I didn't love JEssi, that I was going to dump her to marry Alannah.  It was fake, but it sounded real.  And Alannah is so spiteful, she would go to no end to provide fake proof.  I had to break up with her, and I had to marry Alannah, or she'll give Jessi the tapes."  Andrew let the words tumble from his mouth, relieved that someone else knew.

Glenda sat in shock, not knowing what to say or do.  Andrew sat looking at her, a pleading look in his eyes.  "Do you think....in time....Jessi would ever forgive me."  Andrew asked.

"Andrew....she'll forgive you.  But....I'm....I don't think she'll ever be able to trust you in the same way.  Be with you....you know what I mean?" Glenda asked.

"Yeah, I think I do. I messed up, and I'll be forever paying for it.  Won't I?"  Andrew again asked her.  Glenda nodded slowly.  "Do you think if I went and apologized to her now, that it would help matters?"  he sighed.

Glenda shook her head, "andrew...Jessi left early this morning.  She wouldn't even tell me where she was going.  Just that she'd be in touch.  And that she'd be safe.  She said she had to get away.  You really hurt her. I'm not trying to make you feel bad...you know I love you as a brother...but it's the truth." Glenda told him.

Andrew held his head in his hands and felt his heart breaking.  Glenda watched, her own heartbreaking at what was going on between these two people who had so much love inside for each other.  She vowed, someday, somehow...Alannah would pay.
