Chapter 33
Colleen sat in her and Matt's room all alone just thinking. Her thoughts were interupted by a soft knock at the door. Colleen looked up and saw it was Leah. She smiled. Leah smiled back and walked into the room and sat on the bed.
Leah and Colleen just sat on the bed for a few minutes, Leah looking at her. Leah didn't know how to start this off. The only thing that she knew for sure was that she had to talk to her sister one way or another, and what better time then now? Leah finally had an idea what to say.
"Colleen, how are you? I am only asking because I heard Matt and Jeff talking down stairs and Matt told Jeff that you weren't yourself last night." Leah asked looking at Colleen with worry in her eyes.
"All I was really worried about was you." Came Colleen's simple answer as Leah just looked at her.
"Are you sure? I mean Matt sounded really worried about when he was talking to Jeff this morning." Leah asked placeing her hands on Colleen's shoulders.
"Yes Leah, I am sure and I will have to tell Matt that I am fine too." Colleen said placing a hand on her stomach.
"Good, I am glad. Do you want to downstairs and see everyone and get something to eat?" Leah asked getting off the bed.
"Yes I do, I am really hungry but I will be down in a minute. I just want to finish getting dressed." Colleen said getting off the bed and giving Leah a hug.
"Ok, I will see you down there in a bit then." Leah said as she walked out of the room and down the stairs.
Colleen just stood there for a minute. In the back of her mind she had a feeling something was up but didn't want to say anthing to her sister or Matt. She didn't want to worry them. After all Leah was going through a tough time and she wanted to be there for her, not matter what. It was going to be hard but she had to put the thoughts of a baby in the back of her mind for her family's sake, for now anyway. After all she might not even be pregnant. "I don't want to get my hopes up." Colleen said to herself as she finished doing her hair.
After checking herself in the mirror she headed down the stairs to see Matt, Leah and Jeff.
Colleen walked into the kitchen and smiled over at Matt. Matt came over to her a put his arms around her waist and just hugged her. Jeff and Leah were on the other side of the room and were doing the same.
As Matt was behind her she just stood there and thought about how lucky her and her sister were to have such great men in their lives. Colleen knew that she wanted this feeling to last forever and was sure Leah felt the same.
All of a sudden Gil came in to the room and surprised the heck out of all of them. When everyone finally realized that he was there, Gil spoke up.
"So, what are you kids doing today?" Gil asked looking back and forth between the two couples.
