Chapter 3
It was around 4pm and Colleen was still on the computer
when her boyfriend Matt got home and she was still in the chat room but still
talking to people. Matt came in the door and just stood there looking at
her. She could feel like some one was staring at the back of her neck so
she turned off her computer.
Matt just stood there staring at her and he thought that
is was funny that she had a scared look on her face. As she turned around she
jumped just a little and he bust out laughing. When Colleen realized that it
was Matt she went over to him and started to punch him playfully. Matt just
took Colleen in his arms and hugged her. She stood there for a few seconds and
then told Matt about her day.
She told him that for the most part she just stayed on
the computer and talked to different people. Matt then said "I hope you
weren't talking to any guys on there?" She just smiled and said
"No". Then she went on to tell him that she started to talk to this
girl named Leah and that she lived in the UK and was really nice. She decided
not to tell him about Leah's boyfriend because Matt had a surprise for her.
Matt was really happy when he got home and Colleen could
tell. Matt led Colleen to the couch and told her to close her eyes. He then
told her to open her hand and he place a piece of paper in her hand. Colleen
opened her eyes and saw the piece of paper in her hand, she looked up at Matt
and said, "What is this?" He responded by saying that if she reads
it she will find out.
She opened the paper slowly afraid of what was on it.
She opened it and this is what it said...."If you really love me will you
go out to a romantic dinner with me." She replied by saying
"What kind of question was that?" and then said yes.
They went out for a romantic dinner and came back a few
hours later.
