The Straight Shooter #3
By The Man They Call Joe
Changes? UBWF? Nah, right? Well at Counterstrike, changes were the order of
the day! Not one, but TWO titles were taken off of Breed members in
extremely hard fought matches.
As many of you already know, I am the new Juniorweight champ after defeating
Hopeless 3-2 in a 20 minute "Ironman" match to open up the show. It was a
well recieved match and perhaps one of the best in my career. To say that I
pulled a victory out at the last possible second is quite appropriate here,
as I got the final fall off of an Edgeomatic with 7 seconds left for the
pin. Hopeless, you beat me twice in a row and you have been one of my
toughest opponents, but you got too overconfident. Fool me once, shame on
you....fool me twice, shame on me....fool me three times? I'd have to go in
the back and just end it all! However, Hopeless bit the bullet and lost.
Also, kudos to my associate Marshall McCloud for capturing the In'tl title
in a triple threat match with The Suicide Machine and Pain. It was a hard
fought match on all sides and TSM had a good run with the belt before his
downfall. This all leads back to...
changes! For the most part, change is good and Counterstrike proved it! The
Breed is not the Juggernaut it once was. The Breed is weaker, but this will
not prove the end of their exsistence soon enough.
That will come with change...
And that's the gospel according to TMTC....
