The Straight Shooter #3
By The Man They Call Joe

(Note: This was written about 12 hours before UBWF CounterStrike on Sept.30)

Psychology. Fun word. Some people have different interpretations of it. Some follow it closely, while to others it's merely an afterthought.

Wrestlers are perhaps the best employers of psychology when it comes to an athletic exebition. Each wrestler has to have a keen sense of reading their opponent and try to counter what they do before they even do it (except for Stone Cold Lynch, who just drunkedly beats the hell out of anything that moves!). Some are masters of this science while others just aren't. It's much like reading a poker face or seeing a woman's panties as she bends over. As you see them, you may or may not be able to tell her intentions. Of course, if she's wearing NO panties, it's probably a safe bet what her intentions are!

Anyway, psychology is the wrestler's best friend. Jake Roberts(pre lush period), Ric Flair and Bret Hart are just a few of the countless names that you should look to for as an example to this rule. They knew how to read there opponent. And in order to read your foe, you need patients. The answer isn't always JUST RIGHT THERE! You have to spend time to find out the truth.

See, Hopeless....YOU have to find out the truth. YOU have to be able to read me! And you only have 20 minutes to do so! You've had my number twice before, but you can't fool me three times. You have to read me, but I'll let you in on a few secrets....

There will be violence...
There will be hurting...
There will be wrestling...

the rest?

....I'll never tell....

-And that's the gospel according to TMTC!

P.S.- I'd like to send out my condolences to the victims and familes hurt in the terrorist attacks. I will be writing a poem about this tradgedy and hoepfully it will be on the webpage soon.
