The Bad Breed

History of the Breed: As told by Nick McMahon.
Sometime in 1999... A cancer was born. Not someone born in the summer months, nor a killer disease... A "good" cancer, so to speak. Good... for most. It was the birth of a stable that would soon be recognized by many... feared by others. Started slow as a revolution wouldn't begin until one day when he stepped up to his leader... this is his story.

Bloodstone's career started off against a jobber named The Gravedigger. The exact date really isn't important but the day was. The card-opener and a new wrestler was about to make his debut. But something bad happened. During this hardcore match, before the match ever happened Bloodstone was cut open with a piece of stick! That same day, Bloodstone was told to keep out of action for the remainder of the day. But against some old ladies orders, he refused. He continued on later that day to participate in the hardcore Battle Royal. The winner would face Gravedigger for the hardcore title (He later went on to win the hardcore title). He drew the very last number and caught every wrestler by surprise. He won the battle royal and fought Gravedigger and beat him for the title. Bloodstone becomes new hardcore champion.

All that action and only on his first day there. He goes on to defend the title only to lose it to Tony Snow. But does success ends there for Bloodstone? Not at all. Bloodstone enters the cruiserweight division to have a huge feud with Playboy Pat Masters & Little Bobby. They had put on some of the greatest 3-way dances that RDW has ever seen in the cruiserweight class before. Having the RDW cruiserweight title going back and forth between the 3 of them. Bloodstone has become a two time title holder.

Bloodstone has been one of loves to be a follower. He, Rage, Jayson, and Wyndorf have formed many different types of stables in the past. The Ministry, The Hardcore Alliance, Back to The Ministry, then the Metal-Melisha, back to the Hardcore Alliance. Within a friendship brings some problems as well. Why do I say that? Well at one time, both Rage & Bloodstone were feuding for the hardcore championship when Rage was the champion. They had a great feud but it ended when Bloodstone realized that he can't defeat Rage. Bloodstone reenters the cruiserweight division and wins the title for a third time. But then a new competitor comes into play. His name is Buckley. Back in the day this little man always wanted a title shot. But never received and due to his "size". But Bloodstone finally gave him the title shot he has ever wanted. But at the time, the hardcore alliance was around so Bloodstone decided to have Rage as special guest ref. With a controversial ending match, Buckley won the match to become cruiserweight champion. But off course, Bloodstone had to complain because he thought he was cheated out of the match. He was yelling at Rage for the lost. But the MEW commissioner came out and had and over ruling with MEW president Mercury so a rematch was set for next week. That's when Rage & Bloodstone start a feud (as explained above). The next week, Bloodstone defeats Buckley to become a 4-time cruiserweight champion.

What is Bloodstone going to do now? With having total power within the cruiserweight division. There's no more to do with it. Bloodstone drops the cruiserweight title a few weeks following that. With Rage not leading the Hardcore Alliance, Bloodstone decided to take control as its leader. To prove himself worthy once more, he has to prove to himself and his stable mates that he is capable of holding the hardcore title. He challenges the man who defeated him the first time around, Tony Snow. Through hard work and weeks of preparing his match. It finally happened. Bloodstone defeated Tony Snow for the hardcore championship. Did we mention that Bloodstone is the only cruiserweight to hold the hardcore title? Not only did he do it once. But with this victory, he has done it two times!

Bloodstone's success continues to follow him. Later on that same year, Bloodstone and tag team partner Jayson challenged the current tag-team champions at the time, Pure Massacre (Icebreaker & Mark Quinn). After a big controversial breakup between Mark Quinn & Icebreaker, Bloodstone & Jayson walk away with the Tag-Team titles. Jayson suffers a back injury during a title defense and they are forced to drop the titles. Remaining undefeated. Bloodstone still carries the hardcore championship still. He holds the title for an incredible reign of 5 months! Defending against every wrestler that tried to walk his path: his own friend Wyndorf, Kashmir, etc. And even his older brother Mercury. They have had the longest feud in RDW history which is still going on today. As time goes on. A new worker is introduced from out of no where one day. His name is Scott Lévesque. He walked into RDW without a contract and yet he got his way. Was there a booker at the time that he set up this man's debut? Only god knew. But anyway, Scott Lévesque’s first match was a three-way match for the hardcore title. Bloodstone vs. Scott Lévesque vs. Andy "The Canman" Noia. With the help of Scott Lévesque, Andy walked away with the hardcore title.

After that day, the Bloodstone we knew failed to exist. He was in a trance with Scott Lévesque. Stunned where ever he saw him. And yet, no power to resist his temptations. As weeks followed, Scott Lévesque recruited Rage, Buckley (renaming him Sick Boy), and then even Bloodstone himself. That day forming The New Breed.

Without Scott Lévesque having a contract, there was no real goal for The New Breed to have other then destroy all RDW wrestlers at their own will. Buckley tried to convince him to sign the contract. He was booted from The New Breed. Bloodstone tried to have Scott Lévesque sign. He received the biggest beating of his life. Then the RDW commissioner at the time, Playboy Pat Masters finally got Scott Lévesque to sign the contract. Now, The New Breed was free to do more than just destroy. They were allowed the divide and conquer. Bloodstone introduced Jayson once again accepting him into The New Breed naming them, The Bad Breed. They go on the win the tag-team titles for the second time. Rage was Intercontinental Champion, Little Bobby as cruiserweight champion, and Scott Lévesque had won the RDW heavyweight title. Times were great for The New Breed.

But then, a new force was entered into RDW. They were called SCW. The main goal of these guys was to show who the bad asses in Underground wrestling were. The New Breed decided not to take part in this war between RDW and SCW. Scott Lévesque called his stable neutral against both groups. But Bloodstone was rebelling against the decision. Bloodstone then joins RDW's side to take part in this war. The next week, Scott Lévesque was forced to punish Bloodstone. How did he do that? By introducing a new member in The New Breed. His name was Sattolu "The Human Suplax machine". He got given Bloodstone the second biggest beating of his life. After that day, Bloodstone was once again in under Scott Lévesque’s power. But to have Bloodstone prove himself to The New Breed, Scott Lévesque gave Bloodstone orders to eliminate Jayson from the stable. Being striped form the tag-team title once again due to this decision. Bloodstone & Jayson fought in a hardcore match that will not be forgotten in RDW history books. Bloodstone became victorious and forced Jayson to leave RDW. As hard as it was, he had to do it.

After that was over. Sattolu, Little Bobby, and Bloodstone went out to find the perfect birthday present for Scott Lévesque. What they found was an old friend. On an interview one day, they called out Scott Lévesque to present him with his gift. They introduced Trinity. They haven't seen each other since high school and they were both proud to see each other. They have finally renewed there relationship once again. Happy days were once again starting up with The New Breed.

After weeks of thinking about the past, Bloodstone realized that he has been forced to be pushed around by Scott Lévesque. For the longest time. Now with Bloodstone finally thinking straight, he has decided to once again rebel against his boss, Scott Lévesque. Gaining Little Bobby as an allied and not a foe, they have divided the stable into two groups. In honor of his best friend Jayson, he names his stable The Bad Breed. Now with the help of Little Bobby there might be a chance that Bloodstone has a chance against The New Breed; Scott Lévesque & Sattolu. No chance in hell. Even with little help, he is still unable to defeat Lévesque.

Risky Business comes and Bloodstone enters himself into the battle royal. The winner gets a # 1 contender shot at the RDW heavyweight champion, Scott Lévesque. Bloodstone was able to win the battle royal and that gives him the right to face Scott Lévesque one-on-one. The next match is for the RDW Tag-Team Championship. The Scream Killers vs. aWo 2000. But one member of the scream killers is down. So one of them Scream Killers continue fighting anyway. He wins the match! He unmasked himself to announce to the world that he is Jayson! Jayson has returned once again. Calls out Bloodstone. Not to beat him up. But to forgive him for what he has done in the past and to announce that the original Bad Breed is back. But Mark Quinn comes out to confront them. Challenges them for the tag-titles. But with what tag-team partner? Icebreaker comes out and starts to say that for one night only, they will co-exist as a tag-team to try and take the tag-titles from them.

They have the tag-team title match later the evening. The end of the match was very, confusing. The lights went out and when they came back on, Byron Bangkok was standing there. He single-handedly took out The Bad Breed. He puts Mme. Lash on top of Bloodstone. Icebreaker leaves the match. And it's announced that Mark Quinn & Mme. Lash are the tag-team champions? See what I mean? It was a mess. Bloodstone & Jayson swore to get revenge on Bryon Bangkok.

The time has come. The main event was around the corner and Bloodstone finally got his chance he has waited for. Trinity & Sattolu came out with Scott Lévesque and Little Bobby came out with Bloodstone. This match was intense the whole way in. But towards the end of the match, something very ironic happened. Trinity came in the ring while the ref was knocked out. Bloodstone tried to hit her but Scott Lévesque jumped in front of the way. Scott Lévesque yells at Trinity to get out. But Trinity low blowed him. Bloodstone through a kendo stick at Jayson and he nailed Scott Lévesque then Bloodstone picked him up for a Blood Drop. The ref is revived by Jayson. Sattolu couldn't do anything to help due to his hardcore match he had right before the main event. 1,2,3! New Heavyweight Champion! But the question is why Trinity? Why? They continued to attack him until he was left a bloody mess. And they did. They left his dead body in the ring and left with both the heavyweight title, and Trinity.

Bloodstone celebrated his victory the following week by walking out with the heavyweight title in hand. Being challenged by his older brother Mercury, he was ready to defend his title for the first time. This match was an incredible match up like no other. As usual, the brothers fought until one stood down. But during the match when Bloodstone nailed the Blood Drop, there was no pin attempt. Now, everyone at the time was wondering why Bloodstone didn't go for the cover. Would he have regretted it? He sure did! Because towards the end of the match, Mercury pulled by The Nick Killer and pinned Bloodstone to become heavyweight champion for a 4th time!

But then Mark Quinn came out with some papers in hand. The RDW president grabbed the mic and sadly announced that Mercury did not win the match. With confusion around the air, no one knew exactly what to say. How did Mercury lose if he pinned the champion? There had been an added stipulation prior to the match. The match was an unannounced "Reverse Pinfall Match." In other words, the man to get the pin would lose and thru man being pinned would win. Mercury snapped at Mark Quinn for making the stipulation and Mark Quinn said that he didn't do it. And stated that the Commissioner had signed the papers. Bloodstone and The Breed attacked Mercury and Mark Quinn afterwards and Bloodstone remained the champion.

Now there's another question that everyone has been asking: Who's the Commissioner? I thought there was o commissioner. Well, there isn't. It appears that one of the power heads of RDW gave this power to another selected person after Showtime Steve Roberts. But there was neither meeting nor agreement. So this commissioner became a "Mystery."

The next problem in The Bad Breed was dealing with Sattolu. He had been Scott Lévesque’s friend for years and now that he was gone, He had been losing matches left and right. Sattolu was confronted by the entire Breed faction after a heavily battled match. Being injured and beaten, none the less he continued to make his point clear. He said that he wasn't going to follow someone who didn't know anything about him. He said that Bloodstone was only trying to be Lévesque and the fact that Bloodstone isn't Scott Lévesque. When Sattolu was going to leave. The Breed attacked him. With anger added to the heavyweight champion, he showed no mercy when he placed a steel chair between his injured leg and groin and took another one and bashed the two of them together. That left Sattolu to be forced out of RDW and to retire for good.

Soon afterwards the heavyweight champion starts to pick a bone with RDW president Mark Quinn. He's been doing so because Bloodstone felt that Quinn would become difficult down the line. But Mark Quinn outsmarted Bloodstone. He waited for the day when Bloodstone was injured during a hardcore match and striped him from the heavyweight championship! That left Bloodstone out of the ring for 3 weeks and then a 16-man Heavyweight tournament was decided by the President and would take place the following week.

The 16-Man Tournament was one not to be forgotten. 16 men fought hard to earn that spot but only 2 men were left to battle it out for the title at the end. It came down to a family feud between one GQ and his cousin Mark Quinn. This match was a match that we have to say that was indeed incredible. These guys fought hard when in the end. Vivian added assistance for Mark Quinn and earned a victory over the RDW president. Mark Quinn then became a 2-time RDW heavyweight champion!

But that day wasn't over by a long shot. Because shortly afterwards, Bloodstone and The rest of the Breed came down to the ring. For what purpose? Why was Bloodstone going to confront him anyway? He stated that the "Mystery Commissioner" gave Bloodstone full rights to be the No. 1 contender foe the title. As Mark Quinn looked down to see it for him. He received the Blood Drop. Bloodstone told the ref to ring the bell and he got the 1,2,3 and became the RDW heavyweight champion once again.

The following week, Bloodstone revealed to the wrestling world that he had outsmarted Quinn. He stated that even though he didn't like loosing the title, that he has his ways on getting it right back in his possession. Mark Quinn comes out and asks for a rematch for the title. As Bloodstone begins to speak, Trinity pops up and says no. Mark Quinn asks why and she responds by saying "any other man but you can get a title shot." Mark Quinn being the president. Announced who his opponent would be at the next PPV. It would be the man that made him. It would be Scott Lévesque!

The next week, Bloodstone and Scott Lévesque faced each other in one of RDW's most hardcore matches to this day. Both Bloodstone and Scott Lévesque showed no mercy as they used chairs, ladders, tables, metal shaped circles, everything they found, they used. And believe me, Scott Lévesque was leaving thinking he would walk out the RDW champion. When the Lévesque Mark was nailed. The ref made a count of 2 but then....Hayes and Thorne make their way to the ring and cost Lévesque the match due to Quinn ending the match as a disqualification. Scott Lévesque was disappointed by left as the winner of the match.

Bloodstone still RDW champion leaves Mark Quinn in fury. Knowing that his presidential power is out powered by Bloodstone's mystery commissioner, Mark Quinn has no other choice then to make a challenge for the belt once more. On Rampage, Quinn finally made the challenge and Bloodstone accepted! With a few stipulations added. He had to defeat both Hayes and Jayson in the same day to be #1 contender. Mark Quinn accepted and left to prepare for his first match.

Hayes still being new to RDW at that time, Mark Quinn gave Hayes a welcome Borden and showed Hayes how Bombs Away was done in person. Next opponent was the submission expert Jayson from The Breed. This thug was waiting to see if this icon was really a challenge for him since their last confrontation in the 16-man heavyweight tournament back in May. This match was technical on both parts. At times during the match, both men tried to go for big moves to end the match fast but were stopped quickie to counters delivered by both competitors. Towards the end, Mark Quinn has Jayson in his hands but Bloodstone runs in the ring and gives a Blood Drop causing Mark Quinn to go unconscious and making him a helpless victim to Jayson's deadly submission hold. With Jayson winning the bout, that made him the #1 contender for the heavyweight belt. Was Bloodstone going to face his partner Jayson and defend the heavyweight title? We had to wait next week to see what happened.

The next week came and Bloodstone was going out for an interview. He was explaining that he would not be facing Jayson due to Mark Quinn regaining the ownership of the #1 contenders spot due to losing to Bloodstone the next week! Beating the champion earns the right to face him at the next PPV: Mentally Challenged!

Named after the heated Mark Quinn and Bloodstone rival, Bloodstone was swearing to remain champion while Mark Quinn said that he would become a champion for the fans of RDW and bring hope once more. When the match started, no one expected to see Mark Quinn perform the way he did. It was a side of Mark Quinn that isn't shown much in RDW: His hardcore element inside of him. And he knew walking into the match; he had to be hardcore against Bloodstone. Towards the end of the match, Mark Quinn nailed the Brain buster which called it quits for Bloodstone.....Not. Bloodstone kicked out and Mark Quinn didn't know what was going to stop Bloodstone. Finally, Bombs Away came into play and the feeling of the area felt a new champion was crowd before you know it..........SCOTT LEVEQUE AND HAYES came out and beated the hell out of Mark Quinn costing him the championship. But....Why? Bloodstone hates Scott Lévesque? Why would he ask him over the Breed? He didn't. Scott Lévesque remembered when Mark Quinn "screwed him" over his match with Bloodstone back at "The Evil that Men Do"

With all this happening all at once, a star was making a name for him once more. His name is Rage. He was going threw RDW starts left and right and nothing was stopping him. Many said that he would be the next heavyweight champion and challenge Bloodstone. But he never made the attempt of going after Bloodstone. Until one day.....an event they called "Total Anarchy" Bloodstone was tricked by TDP and Mark Quinn into defending the title at the PPV. His opponent walked out and Rage was ready to face Bloodstone.

Up until this point, no one gave Rage a better fight than Bloodstone did. That day almost ended Bloodstone life but showed that even though the fans didn't like him, he was a fighting champion all the way until the end. Bloodstone was finally put an end to by Rage; the new RDW Heavyweight Champion!

When he was being cheered by the fan favorites of RDW, Rage turned his back on them and started attacking everyone in his sight. Rage explained to the only man standing Mark Quinn that he didn't need any help from him and that he was "Impure" He wasn't going to let anyone tell him what to do or how to do it. Then Mark Quinn did the stupid thing and went after Rage. That was done quickly as Rage killed Quinn with a choke Slam.

Bloodstone started to go on a tangent and claims that he never lost the RDW Heavyweight title! The RDW roster since that day have never seen Bloodstone the same. It was the first day that Bloodstone's disabilities kicked into play. He developed a "Schizophrenic" disability. It's a metal disorder meaning where the mind believes that it's hearing voices. And the mind can't comprehend reality from fiction most of the time. The cause of this disorder was written down as an accident from the result of the power bomb that Rage delivered to Bloodstone at Total Anarchy 2000.

Now without Jayson and Trinity at his side. The Bad Breed is no longer apart of Bloodstone's life which makes things that much harder. Bloodstone's only friend at was the mystery commissioner. But that didn't help him though his problems he was suffering. Day in and Day out, Bloodstone walked into an RDW ring confused, and didn't know what to do. One day Bloodstone and Mark Quinn met face to face in the same ring again in an 30-Minute Iron Man match. This was promised to be the last time these two faced off. Mark Quinn is still looking for vengeance against Bloodstone after putting him though so much over the past year. This was an epic battle between the two and at the end of the 30 minutes, Mark Quinn was announced the winner by a score of 3-2. Bloodstone runs though the back locker room and brings out with him some documents starting that the mystery commissioner signed a stipulation saying that Mark Quinn had to defeat Bloodstone by 2 falls. But Mark Quinn had an announcement of his own. Mark Quinn also said he had a stipulation as well. It stated that if the match was forced into Sudden Death, then there would be a special guest referee. That special guest referee ending up being Byron Bangkok. The end of the match resulted in Mark Quinn gaining another Pinfall over Bloodstone and the satisfaction that he can beat the man who has beaten him many times in the past.

Bloodstone continued to go by his losing ways for a very long time in RDW. Until Jayson came back in to his life. Bloodstone felt that now he and Jayson can conquer the tag-team division once again seeing he was back. The Bad Breed was then scheduled to face off against the current tag-team champions EoS members Onyx and Rukkus. Eos attacked Jayson in the beginning of the card. Bloodstone tried to make the save but was already too late. Jayson had suffered a near career ending injury at the hands of Eos. Bloodstone said that he would still go on and carry out the match and go in a handicap match for the tag team titles still.

Bloodstone came out for his match and was ready to face off against Eos. When out of no where, Billy Braxx comes out and offers to be Bloodstone's partner for the match. Surprising, Bloodstone and Billy Braxx ending up victorious against the champs and were crown the tag team champions! Bloodstone and Billy Braxx walked away that day being the champs. But Bloodstone didn't like what he had to go though. Bloodstone didn't like the fact that he had to share the tag-team titles with Billy Braxx. This proved to be a very off tag-team. Bloodstone wanted to share the glory with Jayson but he couldn't. So what he tried to do was take all the glory for himself and state that "He" was the tag-team champions. Billy Braxx so desperately tried to become Bloodstone's friend and to earn his trust so they can become a successful tag-team. But Bloodstone wasn't buying it. And he remained his stubborn ways and continued to listen to the voices who said he can do it on his own.

Bloodstone however hoped an unlikely alliance with the returning New Breed which consisted of Thorne, Playboy Pat Masters and former leader, Scott Lévesque. Bloodstone had been hanging with them and decided to call them his allies. Bloodstone was inside the ring talking about how he has finally decided to take the tag-team gold by himself. And then a very shocking thing happened that day. Jayson Brooks had returned to RDW! Bloodstone and the New Breed at ring side were very happy. Bloodstone immediately was under the assumption that The Bad Breed can reform and reign once again as Tag-Team champions. But Jayson said no....shocked beyond belief. Bloodstone asked why. And Jayson told Bloodstone that he didn't like what he became and also said that he can't stand the fact that he and Braxx were tag champs. Bloodstone admitting to his mistakes said he was sorry. But Jayson still refused to reform The Bad Breed. Bloodstone then said "Fine, I don't need you then. I can be fine on my own." But Jayson said "You do need me Bloodstone. I know who the mystery commissioner is!” Bloodstone then went into a stage of complete fury and hatred. Bloodstone without thinking challenged Jayson to a match at that moment. Jayson and Bloodstone were best friends and now we have witnessed them encounter a battle that will be left scared for the rest of his life. The painful, hard fought match up ended with Jayson making Bloodstone tap out. A feat that has never been done to Bloodstone. Only he's best friend was able to bring Bloodstone down by a submission. From then on out everyone was saying that The Bad Breed would not be reformed again.
