WATCHMEN

Directed by Zack Snyder. The same guy that brought you "300" which was another Graphic Novel Adaptation.

This compared to how 300 was made, this was a bit different. 300 was short and sweet. While Watchmen was a bit more longer and complexed. Watchmen wasn't all that I was expecting. Yea it was good that they made it into a movie but, it could've been speed up a bit more. There were parts where it did drag for a bit. But when there was action, there was action. It pretty much followed the original story. Some parts were changed. If you read the novel one major change with will be the ending. But I'm not telling you..

They could've at least put some pants on for Dr Manhattan (he is the guy that is all blue). Unwanted nudity

The one performance that I really enjoyed was Jackie Earle Haley as Walter Kovacs / Rorschach. He really brought the character to life.

If you have about 3 hours to spend you should go and check it out. I've seen it twice already. But thats just me. Otherwise read the Graphic Novel.

Notorious

Notorious tells you the life's and times of Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace. From a street crack dealer to one of the coast's most influential rap artist.

Its stars new comer Jamal Woolard as Biggie, Derek Luke as Sean Combs and Angela Bassett as Voleta Wallace.

The movie to me was bit bias towards biggie and bad boys records. Really made him seem like he was the victim in life. Especially after the incident that involved Tupac Shakur getting shot.

Overall the movie was OK, the Jamal's portrait of Biggie was good and convincing.

If you haven't seen this movie, go and check it out.

SHUTTER

Starring Joshua Jackson that kid from Dawsons Creek.

A newlywed couple Ben and Jane move to Japan for a promising job opportunity - a fashion shoot in Tokyo. During their trip on a dark forest road they experience a tragic car accident, leading to the death of a young local girl. Upon regaining consciousness, they find no trace of her body. A bit distraught the couple arrives in Tokyo to begin their new life. Meanwhile Ben begins noticing strange white blurs in many of his fashion shoot photographs. Jane believes that the blurs are actually spirit photography of the dead girl who they hit on the road, and that she may be seeking vengeance.

Not the greatest scary movie ever but it was ok.. its one of those movies you gotta see at the privacy of your own home

CLOVERFIELD

Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.

Crazy movie.. The whole movie is film using a handheld camera. which makes the whole picture shakey.. if you do go see it be warned. its pretty much blair witch style.. U might get sick..

Also quick hint. during the last scene of the movie make sure you keep an eye out towards the water near a boat.. you might just see something..

Untraceable

"UNTRACEABLE" is about a secret service agent, Jennifer Marsh, played by Best Actress Oscar nominee DIANE LANE who gets caught in a very personal and deadly cat-and-mouse game with a serial killer who knows that people (being what they are - both curious and drawn to the dark side of things) will log onto an "untraceable" website where he conducts violent and painful murders LIVE on the net. The more people who log on and enter the website, the quicker and more violently the victim dies.

Wasnt like other movies where you dont know who the killer is.. They tell you like 10mins into the movie.. but it worked towards the story.

Have some time check it out..

Juno

Juno (Ellen Page) is a Mid-Western highschooler, who decides one day, out of boredom or curiosity, to have sex with her friend Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera), a member of her school's track team. She likes him well enough, but isn't hung up on him. This one time encounter results in Juno's pregnancy. She and her best friend Leah (Olivia Thirlby) decide to take control of the situation by browsing for prospective adoptive parents in the local Pennysaver newspaper, and Juno settles on seemingly the perfect, affluent couple Mark (Jason Bateman) and Vanessa Loring (Jennifer Garner) who is desperate to have a child. Junos sensitive father (J.K. Simmons) and stepmother (Allison Janney) are very supportive of her and help Juno with her decision to give the baby up for adoption. Juno and her father check out Mark and Vanessa Loring to see if they are the right couple. As time moves closer to having the baby, Juno grows more into a woman, yet she is still a teenager with all the same problems and a few more.

National Treasure 2 Book of Secrets

Pretty much all the same characters from the original come back. The story this time is Gates (Nicholas Cage) and his family have been accused of being related to someone who was in on the plot to kill Abraham Lincoln. Now they must try and figure out how to clear up his name.

From that your like wow sounds like a good movie... Well it was ok. not super great but ok.. It was freakin long for 1. 2 Nicholas Cage acting was getting on my nerves.
The 1st one was better.

There are about 14 movies coming out this Christmas weekend. This is the 1st one that I've seen soo far. But its the front runner on the list of movies to watch.....

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS

Ahh what can i say i somewhat enjoyed this.. Its mostly for Kids but im a kid at heart. The jokes were nonstop. The CGI on the munks was pretty good. Just David Sevilles (Jason Lee) character could use a little better script lines. Voices were Alvin (Justin Long) Theodore (Jesse McCartney) and idk who simon was.

I really think you should go and watch this. Come on how often do i say that a movie was good.

GOLDEN COMPASS

Ok..
so i actually  watched it last week its just i have been lagging on writing about it.
Like every movie thats coming out. Its based on a book. 3 books to be exact, so this is the 1st of 3 movies coming out.
Has lots of big name actors, Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Ian McKellen, Eva Green, and Kathy Bates.

Its not a bad movie.. especially if your a little kid... yes i enjoyed it. even though it was almost 2hrs long but it was ok. I was awake for it all. Just remember that at the end. Dont be disappointed, there still is 2 more movies to go..

You should check it out if you have a chance. Its got some good trailers before the movie. Like the new Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Speed Racer.. yes thats what i wrote...

I'm out

AWAKE
Watch it the other night..
I was really expecting a lot from Jessica Alba...she disappointed me.. how sad.
Story at the beginning lagged a bit. I was like when is this over.. ahhhhh.
Then towards the middle it finally started getting interesting.. but it took too long to get there so my attention wasn't really into the movie anymore.
If i wasn't being paid, I probably wouldnt have watched it.
If you dont have a choice then, be my guest and watch it.. dont say I didnt tell soo.
