Orientation
Welcome to Orientation. If your a new student at Hogwarts, this is the place for you. You'll know everything by the time you finish reading this.
Once you've joined the guild, go to the Message Board and post a lil' message saying Hi and you're new and things like that. Our kind students and friends should reply soon, because not everyone's on at the same time. But just post and take a look around.
Next, go to the Sorting Hat and fill out the form. Please be patient for at least 24-48 hours (1-2 Days) to get a reply in what house your in. Please don't be upset if your in Slytherin. If it's a bad house, Dumbledore wouldn't have it, now would he? And Slytherin isn't bad because you'll make lots of close friends who'll stick by you and it just means your committed and once you want something, you get it. :)
After you've gotten your reply, go to the common room and see how your house looks like. There'll be a message board and you can post messages, hang out, and stuff like that. But don't try to get into other people's common rooms unless your a part of the staff, because you can get points taken off you!
Take a few classes, or if there's teaching positions open, apply to be a teacher. You'll get your house 100 house points. Points for classes are depending on how much the teachers give you.
That's about it. There's always contests if you're up for Neopoints and House Points together. I hope you enjoy your time here!
