Each new season I attend any faire, I usually manage to find something that just immediately grabs my attention. Usually, it's an act or a comedy bit. This year, it was a new crafter to the faire, the Bristlecone Pine Company owned by David L. Spiesman, Jr. He handbuilds the most original furniture using dead wood from bristlecone pine trees. Pictured here are examples of a king-size bed (photo, left) and a billiard table that took two to three years to create (photo, below). If you wish to find out more about his product, check out his web site here.

At faire, you can usually find people indulging in their own, "created" fun. Such was the case with my friends, Kyle and Bobby, playing chess (photo, right). Kyle won three games. Of course it helps when passerbys tell you what moves to make!
And speaking of indulging, you can find the mayor taking pleasure in feeding the ladies fruit in spite of his life being threatened (photo, below). He seems to have quite the sensuous touch!
