The Altar Mayor of Meycauayan Church.

The Altar Mayor of the Parish Church of St. Francis of Assisi is of Neo Gothic style in design. The whole altar and the walls surrounding it were all made up of marble stones. The altar mayor exhibits modern design. The altar has six columns of Ionic design: the four long columns were paired near the main tableau of St. Francis; the two smaller ones were behind the angels.

Flower vessels wherein flowers were occasionally placed topped four of the six columns. The remaining two supports the pointed Neo Gothic arch. Between the paired columns were strips of stained glass artwork depicting the Holy Eucharist.

At the center of the altar is a single niche in which the tableau of St. Francis, the titular patron, rests. Below the tableau is the century-old tabernacle that is made up of silver. A dome that was an early 20th century addition tops the tabernacle. Above the altar mayor were three rose windows. Two of them exhibit floral designs and the remaining depicts the Holy Spirit in a form of dove.

The walls have two pairs of Roman inspired windows that allow air and light circulate the altar. The ceiling has two intersecting vaults on which light bulbs were placed. The church sacristy is located in the right and the parish mortuary is on the left.
