Harry Potter and the Faustian Pact
By M.L. Brown
After Defeating the Dark Wizard, Lord Voldemort, Harry Potter has chosen the career path of an auror. Along with his best friend, Ronald Weasly, Harry and other auror hopefuls must endure the strenuous training period under the tutlage of several retired aurors. The instructors' poor physical conditions (missing limbs, shell shock, strange diseases)have Harry second guessing his career choice.
Hermione Gramnger, on the other hand, has different troubles. After accepting a teaching position at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, her stress level escalates beyond that which she usually had during end of term exams as a student.
Between mischevous students, Ron Weasly's strange behavior, the new Defense Against Dark Arts teacher, and MacGonagal's first year as Headmistress of the school, Hermione has just about had it. Harry graciously attempts to come to her aid-teacher's aid that is, with pay, seeing as adulthood has brought bills he never even knew existed!-and finds himself deep in mystery.
When Ron's younger sister, Ginny, is attacked by a vampire durring the school's annual Halloween feast, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are determined to sniff out the culprit. They will stop at nothing, even if it means loosing their jobs.
