Harry Potter is now nineteen-years-old, he has a job as a teacher's aid to his friend, Hermione Granger, and with his best friend, Ronald Weasley, is also an auror in training at the Ministry of Magic. And he has a girlfriend, who is excellent at making potions and caring for magical beasts. This may seem odd for any other nineteen-year-old boy, but Harry isn't one of them, he's a wizard.
This Year, the ledgendary Triwizard Tounament has been re-instated, and the dark, mysterious school, Durmstrang has arranged to host the festivities. MacGonagal, and about a dozen sixth and seventh year students from Hogwarts are traveling, along with Madame Maxime and students from Beaubatons Institute to the mountains of Carpathia in Romainia. When Harry's girlfriend asks him to join the group, and travel to Durmstrang, Harry recieves speacial permission from MacGonagal to do so.
Now Harry is faced with extrordinary situations, a group of adventurous Hogwart's students, a mystery involving kidnapping, the trials of the Triwizard Tournament, a crass and errily tragic Histry of the Dark Arts teacher, and a wizened, and morose Durmstrang Headmaster, whom Macgonagal seems to be smitten with.
What will Harry do with all these responsibilities and mysteries threatening to topple down onto him in one broken heap? He calls apon Ronald Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Victor Krum for help.
