Nathanology

Nick names: Nathan (my usual moniker), Nate, Natedog, Nato, Mingo (don't ask), Chief

Education: Currently final year Commerce student and Psyc Major at the U of S.

Jobs: I pretend to know something about insurance, hopeless romantic, getting the staff of the Cove through college and spraining my ankle. 

Hobbies: Kali, Kung Fu, messing up stuff and calling it art, driving (I do enough of it that it could be considered my hobby), learning to lip sync for my choral concerts 

Things I collect: Stuff that doesn't break easily, driver's licenses, Lone Wolf and Cub trade paperbacks, action movies, physical injuries.

What I've learned from school: Procrastinating & Rationalizing(bad combination)

Words and phrases I overuse: Meh, umm, oic, shmeh (mutated 'meh')

Most influential & admired persons: Ken Fong, pastor of the Evergreen Baptist Church in LA. Most hip azn in his late forties.

Fave special award: Pepsi Cola Entrepreneurship Award... for selling chips and pop. lol. What a scam. 

Pet peeves: Alcohol, smoking, bad monologues, morbid obesity, really long stupid jokes, teen pop (especially Britney, and those really redundant untalented skanked out groups like American Idol. BLEAH!), puns, drugs, pro wrestling, whining, people who talk smack about their friends, and all organized sports especially football

Future goals: Something to do in His service. 

Music I dig: Contemporary Christian rock, techno, rave/dance, jpop and a sprinkle of classical. 

Fave color: Lavender (not on me), followed closely by black and white (typical azn)

Fave food: Italian Pasta, none of that cheap Boston Pizza imitation. Sushi comes close in second place. 

Fave drink: Ice tea, lots of it (I don't drink alkeehall)

Fave books/graphic novels/authors: Rising Stars (Michael Straczynski), Calculating God (Robert Sawyer), FlashForward (Robert Sawyer), They Cage the Animals at Night (Jennings Micheal Burch), Calvin & Hobbes (Bill Watterson), Lone Wolf and Cub (Koike & Hojima)

Fave cartoon/comic character: Ogami Itto (for manga connoisseurs)

Fave actors/actresses: Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Spacey, Samuel L Jackson, Natalie Portman

Actors that can't act but can kick butt: The Jet, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee

Fave plays: Guys & Dolls and Crazy for You

Top 3 movies: Hero (Jet Li), Moulin Rouge, The Last Castle

Fave animal: Koala bears. I don't know why.

Fave number: 8 

Fave tv shows: Enterprise, John Doe, Frasier and Drew Carey (back when I had cable) 

Fave reruns: M*A*S*H and Star Trek NG (once again, back when I had cable) 

Fave thing to wear: Khakis, t-shirts and occasionally baggy pants. I'm not fashionable, but I match. I look like a preppy, so I'm told. 

Other: I love the Lord. I prefer alternatives to Chinese food. I recycle. I am fascinated by how small they can make cell phones. I'm greedy... with fuzzy peaches. Never do spinning kicks while wearing wrestling boots (had to be there).  My weapon of choice is either the bokuto or double baston.  I like dance music but can't dance (closest I get to dancing is DDR). I don't believe in casual sex. Drugs suck. According to my Chinese friends, I'm about 95% white.
