Fireplace quotes!

  Hello, welcome to comfort zone.

A service and repair / General construction company all in one. Our theory is why pay overpriced so called specialty contractors that only have knowledge in their perspective fields, then end up calling another one for something else a week later? case in hand...Your basement is flooded so you call a plumber thinking its your sump pump, He tells you to pump it out so he can check the pump. On the second trip he informs you that its an electrical problem, So you call an electrician which tells you looks like the main bus bar on your electric panel / fuse box but he only does simple wiring and you'll have to call another electrician that specializes in that brand and level of electrical work. fourth trip guy says he should have the part and permits in about two weeks. three weeks later you have power to the pump now but it still doesn't work  so back to the plumber who finds out that there is a stone in the pump that caused the whole short in the electrical to begin with. Finally several weeks or months plus six or more service call bills and work orders later you are up and running and you have twenty refrigerator magnets for handy reference because you are now on first name basis with half the service companies in the tri state area! Now all you have to do is call the carpet cleaner to clean up the carpets because of all the dirty contractor traffic. Plan B...... comfort zone service technician pumps out basement for you, diagnoses electrical problem and quotes price on the spot. You give him your $20.00 off coupon which he gladly subtracts from your bill then moves the problem circuit to another position on the main bus bar thus giving the pump power, identifies that a stone is jamming pump and removes it. now that pump is operating he calls and locates a new electrical bus bar and asks you when is a convenient day and time to have the power off to the house to make the repair. You tell him you can only get today off because of your busy schedule, he promptly calls the electric company to disconnect the power to the house. After returning from electrical supplier with needed part he helps power company disable power to house, changes bus bar and recalls power company to restore electric meter and power to the house. After every thing is fixed and working you ask if he knows anything about refrigerators because yours is not keeping ice cream cold, he diagnoses that your defrost timer is bad  and replaces it from his well stocked service truck and adds the part to the bill. As your writing out your check your husband or wife discuses your plan with him to remodel the bathroom soon so he gives you a complete estimate on the spot. Then as he is leaving he gives you ONE refrigerator magnet and some flooring samples for the bathroom and encourages you to call for any type of repairs or construction projects you might have and to schedule your bathroom project. A year later after comfort zone has remodeled your bathroom, installed gas logs, built your new deck, and reshingled your house you might sit down and write a letter like this customer did.

Dear Comfort Zone,

We’re writing to tell you how pleased we are with all of the services that you completed on our home over the past year. From the new furnace, to the roof and other various projects, your workmanship has been outstanding. In fact, we’ve been so pleased that we’ve recommended your company to our entire neighborhood and many of our friends.

There are a lot of companies who claim they do quality work at an affordable price, but you are the most honest and trustworthy contractors we’ve ever met. Not only were your estimates the least expensive, but the quality and dedication of your work and crew is truly exemplary. We couldn’t be more pleased. If we ever need any additional home repairs, you’ll be the first and only company we’ll call.
