Welcome to our blog. This site is about our Route 66 journey from Chicago to Los Angeles. It tells a little bit about each state we stay at. This does not include Kansas, because we barely got to see it, because only a small portion of it is Route 66. On this site, you will see what states we pass through, what tourist spots we see and the Hotels and Motels we stay at. We also have links to a Route 66 map and a site that goes more in depth of the Route 66 journey. Enjoy!

California: Our Final Destination
In California we do much sightseeing. First we go see Siberia in the Mojave Desert, we then go to Santa Monica Pier to relax. After that we hit the hay in the Old Aztec Motel in Monrovia. Finally, we see a play at The Los Angeles Theatre.

Arizona
In the great state of Arizona, we do not do much sightseeing. We just kept on driving until we reached the Oatmen Hotel.

New Mexico
In New Mexico, we worship at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Fidel. We stay at Los Alamitos Hotel in Grants. We then move onward to Arizona.

Texas
In Texas we look for cowboys along the way. We finally stop at The Cowboy Motel in Amarillo.

Oklahoma
We travel almost all the way through Oklahoma. We take a few rest stops, and stay at the West Winds Motel in Erick.

Missouri
When in Missouri, we visit the Chain of Rocks Bridge in Missouri. We saty at the Boots Motel in Carthage, and then move on to Oklahoma.

Illinois
We start our journaey off form Chicago, IL. We then visit Lincoln's home in Springfield. We travel on through to Missouri.
