The arrival of Caitlin was a big surprise to Ben. Ben had just arrived there himself and was curious why Caitlin came looking for him. It turned out that their dad received a job offer in the middle east and Caitlin didn’t want to move there with them so she ran off to stay with Ben hoping that he could convince their parents that she could stay with him and Sarah in number 30.
Caitlin was instantly attracted to Billy when she saw him but Billy was going out with Anne and that is when it all started. Caitlin wanted Billy so bad she planned on terminating Billy and Anne’s relationship so he can fall in love with her. She went to deep measures, making Anne jealous, flirting with Billy, got him into to swimming so she could see him more which made Anne much more jealous and that jealousy is what finally broke Billy and Anne up giving Caitlin the win. Once Billy and Anne had broken up Caitlin thought that he was all hers until she felted really bad about doing that to Anne and she came to her senses and decided not to continue with Billy but patch things up with Anne.
Caitlin was a serious swimmer and as soon as moving to Erinsborough, she was looking for a swimming coach, even before looking for a school to attend. The swimming coach she found was one of the best in around, Simon. Caitlin found a good friend at training, Mandy, and with that new found friend there was trouble. Caitlin was staying out late and going places without permission which was driving Ben crazy. She even went out on a night on the town with Mandy and that is when Ben cracked and laid down some serious rules. After that Caitlin smartened up her act and became more trusted and mature.
