Chapter 7

"Whew! That was close!" Zac exclaimed, breathing hard, falling back on the bed.

"No kidding," Amanda agreed. "Now I know what it's like to be you guys." The girls outside the door were still screaming. Hanson, and the four girls were now comfortable in the room, with Theresa and Zac on one of the beds, Amanda, Taylor, and Katie on the other bed, and Isaac and Rebekah seated on the stools at the counter.

"Oh no!" Katie exclaimed.

"What?" Amanda asked.

"We have all our shoes down by the couch." Katie reminded them.

"Ooops." Said Rebekah.

"Our bad." Theresa added.

"Well two of us will have to go down and get them." Taylor told them.

"We're going to have to wait until the girls go away." Ike reminded them.

"Wait I have an idea. Why don't me and Katie go and get them, but we can change clothes and redo our hair so the girls don't recognize us." Rebekah suggested.

"That's 'Katie and I,'" Taylor corrected her.

"Oh, shut up, punk, I'm in Honors English," Rebekah snapped back.

Taylor sat with a stunned look on his face. "Um, ok," he squeaked.

"How are we supposed to change our clothes if we don't have any clothes to change into?" Katie pointed out.

"Why don't you wear some of Hanson's clothes?" Amanda suggested, half laughing.

"Yeah, good idea." Theresa agreed, also laughing.

"Okay," The guys hesitantly agreed. They thought the idea was awkward, but went along with it.

"Um, Taylor?" Katie asked shyly. "Do you have your choo-choo pants?"

"My what?"

The four girls laughed. "Your jeans that have stripes down the sides…like Amanda's." she told him.

"Oh, no I don't. Here." He said digging in his suitcase. "You can wear these black pants." He said offering her his black jeans. "And…here you can wear this shirt." He handed her a bright yellow shirt that was extremely hideous. She took it and looked at it in disgust. Ike went to his suitcase, looking for an outfit for Rebekah. He pulled out a pair of blue jeans and a short-sleeved black button down shirt. She took the outfit from him, and she and Katie went into the bedroom (remember this is a suite). Katie and Rebekah slipped off their rollerblades and quickly changed into Isaac and Taylor's clothes. Taylor's pants were a bit large on Katie's slender figure, but everything else fit the girls fairly well. They looked into the full-length mirror in the room.

"I look like a bumble bee in this outfit." Katie commented, disgusted with the outfit that that Taylor picked out.

"Oh well, we're only running down there to get our shoes. It's not like we're going to be in a fashion show." Rebekah reminded her. Katie took her hair down from her mess bun, and Rebekah put her hair in a mess bun. The girls stepped out into the main room, where they saw Isaac, Taylor, Zac, Amanda, and Theresa all watching Nickelodeon. 'Pepper Ann,'(I know pepper ann isn't on nickelodeon, so don't email me telling me that!) Theresa's favorite cartoon was on.

"Oh, I love this show!" Katie spoke up.

"It's pretty cool." Zac agreed.

"Well, I guess we'll go get the shoes now…" Rebekah trailed off. "Wish us luck! Hope we don't get killed!" Katie and Rebekah exited the room. When they got into the hallway, they saw tons of girls standing in the hallway. 'Where did all these girls come from?' Katie and Rebekah wondered to themselves. Two of the girls ran up to them as they were about to step into the elevator.

"Excuse me." One of the two girls asked.

"Yeah?" Rebekah asked rudely.

"Aren't you those girls that were with Hanson?" she asked.

"Hanson?" Katie asked disgusted. "Hanson sucks!" she added, trying to look convincing and trying not to laugh.

"And, anyway, why would Hanson be here?" Rebekah added, giving them a dirty look.

"Oh, sorry." The two girls answered, as they walked away. Katie and Rebekah took the elevator down to the fourth floor, found the couch, and found seven pairs of shoes-mostly black boots, unharmed. They picked up all the shoes, which were very hard to hold, with seven shoes for each of them. But they managed to gather up the seven pairs of shoes and took the elevators back up the guys' room. The squealing girls were still in the hallway. By this time it was nearly three 'o clock in the morning. Katie and Rebekah knocked on the guys' door. Theresa answered, and quickly ushered Katie and Bek inside. Amanda was now sleeping on one bed, while Isaac and Zac looked ready to hit the sack, also. Theresa and Taylor were both bouncing off the walls with hyperness.

"I think we should get back to our room, now." Rebekah said, not wanting to leave the three guys.

"Yeah, I think it's time to hit the hay." Isaac agreed. Katie and Rebekah gathered up their clothes, since they were wearing Ike and Tay's clothes, rollerblades, and shoes. Theresa gently woke Amanda up, and they picked up their shoes and rollerblades.

"Night guys." Taylor said hyperly.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow." Zac added, as he gave Theresa a big hug and a kiss. Zac also gave the sleepy Amanda, Katie and Rebekah hugs. Then everyone started exchanging hugs with everyone else. Isaac and Rebekah kissed goodbye. Katie and Taylor smiled at each other, as they walked out the door. Amanda was too tired to see this, nor worry about it. The four girls left the guys' room. The guys changed into boxers and T-shirts, and went to bed-which was hard for Taylor to do, since he was so hyper. But eventually he calmed down and went to sleep. Katie, Theresa, Rebekah, and Amanda got to their room without being harmed or questioned by the squealing girls. The girls changed into their pajamas-Rebekah in navy blue windpants and a red Disney World T-shirt, Amanda in white boxers and her B-96 concert T-shirt. Theresa put on her light blue baby looney toones pajama pants and a plain white T-shirt.

"I want to sleep with Hanson." Katie said jokingly, putting on her Hanson shirt and plaid pajama pants. There were two double beds. Amanda immediately fell asleep on the bed closest to the door. Theresa also stayed on that bed. Katie and Rebekah took the other bed. Katie slept the closest to Amanda and Theresa's bed. Katie laid down, but still talked with Theresa and Rebekah. They talked and jabbered on for about an hour, until they couldn't think of anything else to talk about. While they'd been talking over that hour, Katie had gotten some candy out of her backpack, most of which Theresa devoured, because she always took all food offered to her.

"Hey, why don't we tell our life stories." Theresa suggested.

"Good idea. I'll start." Rebekah replied beginning her life story. For the whole hour that it took her to tell it, both she and Theresa were being extremely hyper and loud. They took a break after Rebekah's story. Katie settled herself into bed, while Theresa and Rebekah got more soda, candy, and went to the bathroom. When they returned back to their beds, Katie was nearly sleeping and only one small lamp in the room was on.

"Guys, can we just go to sleep now?" Katie complained.

"No, I haven't heard Theresa's life story yet!" Rebekah exclaimed loudly.

"Yeah." Theresa agreed, even louder.

"Fine." Katie said annoyed, rolling over, onto her stomach.

"Well, I was born at 1:12 in the afternoon on May 9th 1983…" Theresa began. Theresa and Rebekah laughed, talked, and joked while Theresa told her life story-which took 31/2 hours, so by the time Theresa was finished, it was about 7:30 in the morning while Theresa was telling her story, Katie had been telling Rebekah and Theresa to shut their big mouths.

"I guess it's time to go to bed." Rebekah said tiredly.

"I don't wanna, I'm not tired." Theresa argued.

"Well, I am, and I'm turning off the light." Rebekah said, her hyperness wearing off.

"Fine, but I'm staying up." Theresa told her, as Bek flipped off the light.

"Finally, thank god." Katie mumbled. Theresa sat by herself in silence for a few moments, but then she realized she was alone in her principles yet again, so she went to bed.
