Amanda parked her car, and the four girls grabbed their belongings out of the trunk and eagerly ran to the hotel, checked in, and ran to the elevator.
"Guys…" Theresa whined. "I'm afraid of elevators!"
"Deal with it." Rebekah yelled at her. The four girls climbed into the elevator, and Theresa gripped the rail with all her might.
"Theresa you have elephobia." Katie told her. Katie knew all the phobias and was always telling Theresa all the phobias she had.
"No, I think I have pantaphobia."
"Whaaa…?" Rebekah looked at her questioningly.
"It's the fear of everything. (In 'Charlie brown's Christmas,' Lucy tells Charlie Brown all the phobias he has! It's so cute!) Hey! We know Rebekah doesn't have pyrophobia!" Theresa said.
"What in the rubbish is pyrophobia?" Rebekah demanded.
"The fear of fire." Theresa informed her, as the four girls stepped out of the elevator. "Guys, my acraphobia is kicking in!" Theresa whined again as her knees began to shake.
"Huh?" Amanda asked.
"Her fear of heights." Katie told her.
"Oh."
"Just think of Hanson." Katie reminded her.
"Oh yeah." Theresa calmly stood erect, walked with confidence along, quietly singing 'With You In Your Dreams' to herself.
"Here it is guys!" Amanda exclaimed as she slipped the key into the lock, and swung open the door. Theresa ran inside, threw herself on the bed, and immediately turned on MTV, being the only one in the group deprived of cable.
"Hey guys! The 'River' video is on!" Theresa yelled as she began jumping up and down wildly on the bed as if it were a trampoline.
"Guys! It's 12:15! We gotta meet the guys in fifteen minutes." Amanda reminded them.
"Oh yeah!" Katie exclaimed.
"Yippee-skippy-do!" Theresa shouted in amusement. The girls decided to change clothes before going to meet the guys. Amanda changed from her tour shirt and shorts into her choo-choo pants, and Theresa's black spaghetti strap tank top with rainbow stripes running across the middle horizontally, and she pulled on her black sketchers. She brushed her long blond hair, and curled the ends under so it looked just perfect. Katie pulled on her green cargo pants, a green and tan colored T-shirt, her black sketchers, and pulled her hair up into a mess bun, which was absolutely perfect, because Katie did hair the best. Rebekah pulled on a pair of her new lei (hehe) jeans, with her black combat boots, and a maroon Abercrombie shirt. Rebkeah brushed her straight light brown hair back and put the top section of it into a barrette. Theresa put on her tight old navy jeans, a blue and white striped spaghetti strap tank top, and pulled on her four inch black combat boots, that came halfway up her calf. She pulled her hair into a tight ponytail, securing it with many bobby pins. They all put on a touch of makeup and brushed their teeth. They took one last glance in the mirror, and headed for the fourth floor-this time taking the stairs. They reached the fourth floor, found the vending machine, and found three handsome boys, with long blond hair seated comfortably on a over-stuffed tan couch. Theresa ran to the couch and jumped on creating a pile.
"AAAAAHHH!" She screamed. " Hi, how ya doin?" She asked more calmly.
"Uh, dandy." Zac answered.
"Cool." She sat up, positioned so she was now sitting comfortably in Zac's lap. Rebekah, Amanda, and Katie walked to the couch. Isaac stood up and walked over to Rebekah.
"Hey, what's up?" he asked her.
"MMM, the sky! Har!" She wrapped her arms around his neck, and he put his hands around her waist and they kissed. She then sat on his lap on the couch. Amanda, Katie, and Taylor gave Isaac, Rebekah, Theresa, and Zac disgusted looks.
"What should we do?" Taylor asked.
"I know!" Zac exclaimed. "Do you girls by any chance have your rollerblades?" He asked them mischieviously.
"Yeah, but they're in Amanda's car."
"Okay, good. We have our rollerblades too. We can go rollerblading! Why don't two of you girls run down to Amanda's car and get the rollerblades."
"Me and Bek will go." Theresa volunteered.
"Okay. We'll wait here for you."
"Amanda, we need the keys for the car." Rebekah reminded her.
"They're in the room."
"I need the key for the room, because you don't trust me enough to have my own, remember!" Theresa told her.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot." Amanda fished the room key out of her pocket and handed it to Theresa. "Don't even think of doing anything with my car! You do, you die!" Amanda warned her.
"I know, I know." Theresa said annoyed.
"Hurry back." Zac told her as he gave her a quick hug.
"Oh, I will" Theresa replied mischieviously. Rebekah and Theresa ran down the stairs and ran to room 318, and grabbed Amanda's keys. The two girls ran down to the lobby and out to the parking lot. They found Amanda's car, and opened the trunk, and grabbed four pairs of rollerblades. Rebekah slammed the trunk shut. The girls turned around and there was a man standing right behind them.
"Um, excuse us." Rebekah said. He didn't move, he just stood and stared at them. "Who are you?" She demanded.
"Who am I?" He repeated. "Why do you want to know." He added in a scary voice.
"I don't know, because we're leaving now!" Rebekah finished as she and Theresa ran away. **Author's note: this actually happened to me and Katie. It was NOT cool. **
"Wow! He was kinda hot!" Theresa exclaimed. "I'm gonna marry him!" Theresa was always saying she was going to marry every guy she saw.
"What about Zac? He'll be alone in his principles!" Rebekah reminded her.
"Yeah, I'll marry Zac, too. And Ike, and Tay, and Marilyn Manson, and Beltzer (from 'Twister') and Walker…EEEEEWWW!!! Not Walker!!! That's disgusting to say once I'm going out with his son!" Theresa exclaimed.
"Yeah, I don't think you would want to marry Walker anymore. And don't even think of marrying Ike! The Boy is mine. And I don't think Katie and Amanda would be too keen on you going for Taylor." Rebekah reminded her as the two girls began walking up the three flights of stairs.
"Aah, that's okay, I'm sure I'll be fine with Zac anyway."
"Can you believe you and me are actually going out with Isaac and Zac Hanson?" Rebekah asked her in awe.
"NO! Well, they actually are just normal people, but still ya know, I mean-let's take a look at our rooms-how many Hanson posters are in them? How many hours have we spent talking about them, reading about them, and watching them on TV?" Theresa asked.
"It's so weird. It feels like a dream!" Bekah exclaimed.
"I know! But I feel bad for Tay! Amanda and Katie both want him! I feel bad for them, too, if one of them gets him and the other doesn't. That would kinda suck too!" Theresa exclaimed.
"Yeah, but let's be logical-you and me got quite lucky! We knew Zac and Ike for about an hour before we started going out! How lucky is that!!! I'd give it until tomorrow afternoon until anything happens."
"Yeah," Theresa agreed. The girls had finally reached the fourth floor and found the five of their friends seated on the floor in a circle, Katie seated on one side of Taylor, with Amanda on the other. Rebekah and Theresa dropped the rollerblades on the new teal carpet with a thud.
"We're back." Theresa announced.
"Yea." Katie said sarcastically.
"Yippe-skippy-do!" Amanda mocked Theresa laughing.
"Are you mocking me?" Theresa asked. "Don't mock the fans!"
"Okay, anyway." Ike said brushing off the goofiness. "Let's blade." While Theresa and Rebekah were gone, the guys had gone to their room and got their rollerblades. Zac, Theresa, and Taylor climbed onto the couch, and slipped on their rollerblades, while Isaac, Rebekah, Katie, and Amanda put theirs on, on the floor. Everyone quickly put their rollerblades on, with the exception of Theresa, who was having trouble with her lace, which had snapped. Everyone except Theresa and Zac had gone off rollerblading into the hall. Theresa and Zac were trying to figure out what to do about Theresa's lace.
"I know! Here take Tay's shoelace and tie it to that one." Zac said offering her Tay's shoelace.
"Won't he be mad?"
"Probably, but who cares, it's only a shoelace."
"Okay." She said as she unlaced the shoelace from Taylor's black boot, and tied it ot the lace of her rollerblade (I had an ex-boyfriend do this for me once, when the lace of my rollerblade broke. It is sooo sweet!). Theresa had finally laced her rollerblade and she and Zac took off down the hall holding hands, looking for the others. They made their way to the end of the hall, and they found their five friends gathered around the soda and ice machines.
"Well, now what?" Taylor asked.
"I got an idea! Let's go down to the second floor and speed skate up and down the halls and see how many people yell at us?" Amanda suggested.
"Let's go for it!" Theresa agreed.
"But, guys, we don't want to get kicked out of the hotel!" Katie reminded them, being the sensible one.
"Come on Katie! Live a little!" Rebekah said.
"Yeah." Ike and Tay agreed.
"Let's go!" shouted Zac and the seven friends stepped into the elevator and went down to the second floor, Theresa clinging to Zac in fear the whole time. The elevator suddenly halted.
"AAahhh!" Theresa screamed. "What was that?" Quickly the elevator recovered from its halt and the doors opened on the second floor. The seven of them climbed out and took off down the hall.
"Wait!" Amanda stopped them. "I've got an idea."
"What...?" Taylor asked her cautiously.
"Let's skate up and down the halls singing 'MMMBop' and see if we get a reaction from anyone." she suggested.
"Why not?" Ike agreed.
The seven of them skated as fast as they could, singing 'MMMBop' at the top of their lungs. When they'd gotten halfway down the hallway, a grumpy looking lady peered out of her room. She wore a frown on her face, curlers in her hair, and a pink worn out bathrobe.
"You kids get out of here!" She complained. "Get to bed, it's two 'o clock in the morning!!! You should've been in bed at eight. Now stop it and let me sleep!" She slammed the door. They all cracked up laughing, and slowly skated down the hall, when another head popped out of a door, about five doors down from the crabby lady. Only this time it wasn't an old lady. It was the head of a girl, about the age of thirteen, whom had curly, bouncy, blond hair with sparkling blue eyes, who wore a large pair of pajama pants and a huge Hanson shirt, that came down to her knees. Her face went pale and her jaw dropped.
"AAAHHHHH!!! OMIGOD!!! IT'S HANSON!!! AHHHH! OHMIGOD!!!!! I CAN'T BREATHE!!! AAHHHH!!!!!" she squealed. Quickly four other heads popped out of the door, which started squealing also. The five girls ran after Hanson. The seven of them (Hanson and Katie, Bek, Theresa, and Amanda) ran up the stairs-which was very hard to do, considering they were wearing rollerblades, but the five girls chased after them. The seven on rollerblades were out of breath and were now on the fourth floor. They decided to sidetrack the squealing girls-which the amount of them was now growing, by taking the elevator to the fifth floor, which was the highest up. All seven of their hearts were racing. The elevator seemed to be moving in slow motion. When the doors FINALLY opened on the fifth floor, Isaac, Taylor, Zac, Theresa, Rebekah, Katie, and Amanda flew out of the elevator, taking long strides on their rollerblades, when they spotted the large group of girls running after them screaming hysterically. They finally reached Ike, Tay, and Zac's room, and ran inside and slammed the door, and locked all the locks on the door behind them. Chapter 7
