Before they knew it the amphitheater was filled with Hanson fans, and soon Admiral Twin came out to play. Suddenly a guard came up to them. "Are you Theresa, Rebekah, and Katie?"
"Yeah." Theresa answered. "We are."
"Here. Isaac, Taylor, and Zachary asked me to give you this note." He said as he handed them the note and walked away. The three girls eagerly opened the note. It read:
Hey guys,
We told the guards to let you backstage after the concert, so we can get together.
Luv,
Ike, Tay, Zac
"Gimmie that!" Theresa snatched the note away from Bek.
"Hey!" Bekah yelped.
"Who ever thought that Isaac, Taylor, and Zachary Hanson would write US a note?!?" Theresa exclaimed. "This is sooo cool!" She squealed over the music Admiral Twin was playing. "I mean just a week ago we were doing 'Hanson Placement' **author's note: this is when you pretend Hanson is there, but they're really not-kinda like imaginary friends I guess you could think of it as** Now they're actually here! Zac kissed my cheek!" Katie and Rebekah shot Theresa envious looks.
"Yeah! You and Ritz are lucky!-you're going out with Ike and Zac! I'm the boyfriend-less one here!" Katie complained.
"Not for long!" Rebekah laughed.
"Don't worry Caz! If I know Ritz she'll have you and Tay together by the end of the night." The three of them kept talking and before they knew it Admiral Twin was finished playing.
"Guys! We missed Admiral Twin!" Theresa whined. "Oh well, we'll see them some other time."
The half an hour that it took the crew to set up Hanson's set took FOREVER! Before long, they heard the beginning chords of 'Gimmie some lovin.' The girls got goosebumps and started jumping up and down to the beat with Taylor. They saw that the boys had changed clothes. Ike had changed from his long-sleeved green shirt and baggy jeans and into leather pants and a blue-gray button down shirt. Taylor changed from a silky purple button down shirt and tight blue jeans into a tight gray shirt and tight black pants. Zac had changed from a baggy navy blue and white shirt (the one ike wore on the 'fox kids lineup' before Christmas last year) and jeans and into his blue parachute pants and a red shirt **author's note: these are their actual outfits that they wore before and during the concert in Milwaukee. Look at the cover of 'live from albertane' there's a pic of them standing onstage at the Marcus amphitheater and I have pics of them at the hotel before the concert.** They just couldn't believe they'd been playing soccer with these guys a little over an hour ago, and Theresa had been huddling under Zac's arm, Katie and Taylor attempting to be set up and Bek and Ike starting to go out.
"Oh, God!" Theresa yelled over the sound of 'Weird'
"What? What's wrong?" Katie and Rebekah ad-libbed.
"Guys! What about Amanda?" Theresa shrieked. "She's gonna kill us! We left her by the gates and now she's sitting in our old seats all by herself!"
"Hey! I know what we can do to make it up to her! We can bring her backstage with us after the concert." Rebekah exclaimed.
"Good idea." Katie agreed. "Right after the concert we can go up there and bring her down there with us."
"Yeah, let's do that, but for now, let's enjoy the concert." Theresa replied. At that point in time Zac had grabbed his super-soaker and when Theresa, Katie, and Rebekah saw that it was aimed right at them their eyes went wide and they screamed as a ton of ice-cold water hit them like a cannon. Zac only aimed the super-soaker at them and by that time they were all sopping wet, so it wasn't too cool when they noticed that Ike and Tay were both walking over towards the spot where Zac was before and Ike and Tay both emptied their water bottles on top of the three girls' heads, then they threw their water bottles and Ike's beamed Katie right on the head! Ike just laughed at her. Later on in the show, Zac jumped off the stage and gave his drumsticks to a guy out in the audience, but THEN he leaned over and gave a pretty girl-about the age of thirteen, whom had gorgeous blond hair and big brown eyes a huge hug-then he walked back up onstage without even looking at Rebekah, Katie, and Theresa. Theresa sat down in her chair, a tear welling up in her eyes-first, not only was she very jealous, but she also cried very easily. She sat silently through 'Ever Lonely' silently feeling sorry for herself. Soon 'Ever Lonely' was over; Theresa heard something that made her jump. She heard familiar notes… She had a puzzled look on her face. She heard the beginning chords of 'Lucy'
"The day…" Zac sang in a deep voice. Theresa felt tears well up in her eyes again, only this time in happiness. She'd forgiven Zac for hugging the girl before. She was in perpetual bliss, knowing Zac was singing this song for her, and only her. Zac's voice cracked as he sang the song, but he reminded himself "I'm doing this for Theresa." He climbed of the stage once again, but this time to give a hug to his girlfriend, and he wanted to kiss her, but he knew with all his fans watching him it wouldn't be a good idea. He smiled at Katie and Rebekah, and walked back onstage. Before they knew it the concert was over, and Katie, Rebekah, and Theresa ran up as fast as they could to section 5, row R, where they found Amanda chatting with two girls sitting in front of her, one girl who looked like a big brat, with pink and blue spikes in her hair, and another girl who had long, silky, straight blond hair.
"So?" The spiky girl asked. "You're the b****es that ditched her?" She lashed out.
"Well, whatever. Amanda, we have a huge surprise for you!" Katie said excitedly.
"I don't think I can trust you guys anymore." Amanda replied.
"Well, okay, fine, if you don't want to come backstage with us, then fine." Theresa replied.
"Well, I guess I trust you." The four of them ditched the two bratty girls and Lucy, Maddy, Ritz, and Caz eagerly walked down the stairs to the stage.
"Stop!" A guard yelled at them.
"What?" They asked.
"You can't go back there!" he barked at them.
"Why not?" the girls asked.
"Who said you could?"
"Ike, Tay, and Zac did. They wrote us this note." Theresa pulled it from her pocket and showed the guard. He quickly disappeared backstage for a moment. He reappeared a second later.
"Go on back." He let them through and they eagerly ran backstage to find the guys.
"I want Tay!" Amanda squealed. They all laughed.
"Oh, Amanda-guess what?!? I'm going out with Zac!" Theresa told her excitedly.
"And I'm going out with Ike." Rebekah piped up.
"Oooooohhhhh, I'm so happy for you guys!" They all smiled happily. They looked around the large area backstage. They finally spotted Ike, Tay, and Zac talking to some fans and signing autographs. They patiently waited in the group of fans. By this time it was nearly eleven. All four of them had put on their tour shirt that they'd bought earlier that day. Theresa rushed up to them, when it was their turn to talk to the guys.
"Ohmigod! It's Hanson!" Theresa exclaimed in a ditzy voice. "Haha! Just kidding!" Amanda, Katie and Rebekah walked up to them.
"Guys. This is Amanda." Katie introduced her to Hanson. Amanda politely shook their hands and looked longingly at Taylor.
"I hope you don't mind that we brought her backstage." Rebekah started. "But the four of us came together and we left her alone in our seats, and she didn't get to meet you before the concert, so we felt we should make it up to her." She finished out of breath.
"Hey, that's cool." Tay said. "We always like to get to meet all our cool fans."
"Hey! Guys, can you sign my shirt?" Theresa asked them.
They gave her puzzled looks. "Why?" Zac asked.
"Because I don't' have your autographs." She said innocently.
"Why your shirt?" Taylor asked.
"I dunno, just seems like a good thing to sign. Katie signed my shirt in fourth grade, but that was before we knew each other. Oh! And if you don't mind, can you sign the cover slip thing of my 'Middle Of Nowhere' CD?"
"Sure, no prob." Ike added. Theresa leaned over a bit so they could sign the back of her shirt.
"Dad? Do you have something I can sign their shirts with?"
"Uh, lemme ask some people." Walker walked up to a group of girls talking, giggling, and squealing. "Um, excuse me girls. Can anyone spare a sharpie?" he asked. One girl fished one out of her bag and handed it to Walker, who handed it to Ike. Ike quickly signed all four of the girls' shirts and CD slips, then he gave it to Tay, who did his autographs, then Zac. When all the autographs were finished, all of the fans from backstage had left, with the exception of Amanda, Rebekah, Theresa, and Katie. While the crew and their family were packing up and putting their stuff in the buses, Zac led Theresa by her hand to an empty bus, that no one, nor no equipment was in. He pulled her into the bus, locking the door behind them. Not like they were going to do anything terrible, but they wanted a little privacy. They took a seat on a big comfortable couch. Theresa had her head leaned on Zac's shoulder, and he had his arm around her.
"You guys did awesome tonight." Theresa complimented. "I've never seen you perform live before and it was a lot better than I expected. Although I was quite jealous when you hugged that girl, but I got over it during 'Lucy.' That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me! I can't believe you did that! It was soo adorable!"
"Why thank you." Zac flattered himself. She laughed at him, and gently kissed his pillowy lips, but just for a second, because she didn't want to move too fast for him.
"AHHHHHHH! Open the door! The killer is coming!" Taylor yelled as he flung himself against the door of the bus. Zac and Theresa jumped up in shock, and Theresa grabbed Zac's hand as he walked carefully over to the door, and peeked out the window. They saw Taylor, Katie, and Amanda all screaming for Zac and Theresa.
"Help! He's coming!" Amanda yelled. Zac and Theresa were now screaming hysterically. They cautiously opened the door, and let the three screaming lunatics inside. Katie, Taylor, and Amanda toppled into the bus, laughing hysterically.
"HaHa! We got you!" Katie exclaimed with joy.
"Tay! I knew we shouldn't have let you watch "Scream" and "I know what you did last summer" last night! I always knew I could count on you to play some sort of a joke on me!" Zac yelled mildly insulted.
"Zac! Chill, it was a joke." Tay told him. "Anyway, what were you guys doing in here with the door locked?" He asked suspiciously.
"Nothing bad." Zac replied blushing.
"Yeah, well whatever, but you're supposed to be helping us get all the equipment packed up."
"Oh. Sorry." The five of them walked slowly to the backstage area. When they got there, they found that everything was already cleaned up. They saw Rebekah and Isaac sitting on a wooden box, by a back wall, holding hands.
"Jeez! Where have you guys been?" Ike asked.
"Uh, nowhere." Zac answered passively.
"Well, okay guys, we gotta go soon." Ike reminded them that the night would have to come to an end.
"Are you guys staying in Wisconsin tonight?"
"Yeah, we're leaving for Detroit tomorrow at five." Taylor informed them.
"Oh, good. Are we going to spend the day together?" Amanda asked.
"But of course." Zac said winking at them.
"Eeeeeewwww! Howie!!! Howie winks too much!" Theresa exclaimed disgusted.
"Who's…Howie?" Ike asked confused.
"He's the gayest Backstreet Boy."
"Do you guys like the Backstreet Boys?" Taylor asked.
"I don't." Theresa replied.
"Me neither." Amanda added.
"They're okay." Katie said.
"They're awesome! Har! I like Nick." Rebekah piped up.
"NO! You're dead!" Theresa shouted at her.
"Hey…you used to like Nick too." Bek reminded her.
"HaHa! Not no more! Nick's a girly boy!" Theresa yelled gleefully.
"Hey! Wait a minute!" Tay stopped her. "Look at who you're going out with! Talk about a girly boy!"
"Me!?!" Zac exclaimed offended. "Look at you! You look more like a girl than me!"
"Ha! Yeah, whatever, dream on." Tay replied.
"Guess I'm the only real man around here." Ike said. Rebekah laughed and kissed him gently on the cheek. Ike smiled.
"So, anyway. Guys, we gotta get back to the hotel." Ike reminded them.
"What hotel are you guys staying at?" Rebekah asked them silently wishing they were staying at the same hotel.
"We're staying at the Wyndham." Taylor replied.
"Awesome! Rock!" Rebekah yelled.
"Why?" Ike, Tay, and Zac asked with looks of alarm on their faces.
"We're staying there too!" The girls exclaimed with excited looks on their faces.
"Awesome! One question though, why are you guys staying at a hotel when you live half an hour away?" Taylor asked confused.
"We decided it would be a nice treat for ourselves and we didn't want to wake our families up in the middle of the night getting home this late, ya know." Katie answered.
"I see. This is cool! We can spend all night together and all day tomorrow!" Zac exclaimed obviously excited about the newfound party.
"All right!" Zac and Theresa high fived.
"Guys! Time to go!" The guys heard their father call.
"Kay! We're coming!" answered Ike. "Wait! Which floor are you guys on? We're on the fifth."
"We're on the third."
"Okay, it's about 11:45 now, why don't we meet at the fourth floor vending machine at 12:30? Is that okay?" Ike asked.
"It's all good!" Theresa and Rebekah exclaimed in unison.
"Kay, we'll see you in forty-five minutes." Zac and Theresa dropped hands and he quickly kissed her goodbye. Isaac wrapped his arms around Rebekah's waist, and he pulled her towards him. He gently kissed her, for quite some time.
"Ike! Let's go!" Taylor complained.
"Sorry…" Ike apologized, slowly pulling away from Rebekah, who was bright red, blushing furiously. They all bid goodbye to each other. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac made their way to their tour buses, while Amanda, Theresa, Rebekah, and Katie made their way to the parking lot, they climbed into Amanda's blue neon. Amanda crawled into the driver's seat, Theresa sitting shotgun and Katie and Rebekah in the back. Immediately, Theresa began flipping radio stations. She finally found a song that suited her. It was 'Iris' by the Goo Goo Dolls. (hehe I just had to put my 'hanson concert song' in this story!)
