Chapter 4

Theresa, Zac, Katie, Taylor, Rebekah, and Isaac all made the decision to play soccer. The six of them made their way from backstage to the back of the amphitheater, to a large acre of land, near Lake Michigan. They divided into teams-Katie, Taylor, and Rebekah, against Isaac, Theresa, and Zac. Taylor had scored innumerable goals and Isaac, Theresa, and Zac's team was lagging behind, until finally Katie tried to kick the ball to Rebekah, but Zac got it instead, and kicked the ball towards the goal-except he was headed towards the wrong goal!

"Zac!" Theresa and Ike yelled loudly to him. "You're going the wrong way!" Theresa cried, and began chasing after him. When she finally caught up to him, she tripped over his feet and the two of them toppled to the ground laughing hysterically.

"Bonsai!" Taylor shouted as he jumped on top of them, while Katie, Rebekah and Isaac fell on the top of the hysterically laughing weirdoes.

"Guys! I can't breathe!" Zac squeaked from the bottom of the pile. Since Isaac was on top, he was the first to climb off. He grabbed Rebekah's hands and pulled her off the pile, but the two of them were still laughing hysterically, so they fell over backwards. Taylor and Katie pulled themselves off the ground and just stood there watching Isaac and Rebekah on one side of them and Theresa and Zac on the other, all laughing insanely. Slowly, Rebekah, Isaac, Theresa, and Zac picked themselves off the ground and they had all stopped laughing, except for Theresa.

"What have you been snorting?" Katie asked her.

Theresa looked at the ground where there sat their six diet cokes. "Coke!" Theresa replied laughing. Theresa and Katie began laughing hysterically once again and both girls fell to the ground in pain from laughing so hard. Rebekah, Isaac, Taylor, and Zac just watched the two of them roll around on the ground foolishly. About five minutes later Theresa and Katie had stopped laughing and stood back up.

"So, baby…" Zac flirted and put his arm around Theresa, and this mildly amused her.

"Zac! You are such a dork!" Ike said, while smacking his brother upside the head."

"Zac! Getting a bit horny there, eh?" Taylor added. Katie and Rebekah were mildly amused by this whole scene…Tay calling Zac horny! By this time they were all silent, and could hear the crowd by the gates outside the amphitheater chanting 'Hanson!' over and over.

"God, you guys must love that…" Katie sighed wishing she was famous.

"Yeah, our fans are really awesome." Tay replied. "Especially you guys."

Katie blushed and Rebekah said "Yeah, well, we try…um, yeah." Zac wrapped his arm tighter around Theresa, and Theresa smiled slightly, though she was in complete heaven, she didn't want to look like an obsessed dork. 'And Dawn thought I would scream.' She thought to herself.

"Let's go sit on the rocks down by the lake." Theresa suggested and the six of them walked down to the lakefront, Theresa and Zac now holding hands. Theresa and Zac sat on rocks next to each other, starting their own conversation, ignoring everyone and everything going on around them.

'Whoa!' Rebekah thought to herself. 'I didn't even have to play matchmaker with those two! But it looks like Tay and Katie could use a little help.'

"Hey Tay! You wouldn't believe how much you and Katie have in common." Rebekah started on her mission.

"Like what?" Taylor asked.

"Um, well, you both like to rollerblade, and read and have a lot of the same personality characteristics."

"Wow. That's very cool." Tay replied and Tay and Katie began their own conversation.

"Whoa! Bekah the matchmaker!" Ike exclaimed to her.

"So! You got a problem with that?!?" she replied.

"No, I think it's cute."

"Good. Too bad I didn't get to play matchmaker with Theresa and Zac, though, they seem to be doing fine without any help from me. Now I feel worthless…" she joked.

"Don't feel worthless. Hey! I got an idea! Since you love matchmaking and are obviously very good at it, you think you could set me up with someone?" He asked. Rebekah's heart sank. She liked him, and wanted to go out with him, but whatever would make him happy…

"I guess…"

"Well, see there's this girl, she's 15, got shoulder length light brown hair, about 5'10'', she's very funny and pretty…and her name's Rebekah."

"She sounds a little like me." Rebekah said densely.

"Maybe because it is you doof-o!" Ike added.

"Oh." Rebekah blushed- and she VERY rarely blushed. "I think I could arrange some matchmaking."

"Will you go out with me?" Ike quietly whispered into Bekah's ear.

"Sure." She loudly whispered back.

By this time Theresa and Zac were already going out, and Theresa was huddled close to Zac to keep warm, though it was July, the breeze from the lake made it seem like it was November.

"Zac?" Theresa asked.

"Yeah?"

"Do you get nervous before shows?"

"Sometimes. How bout if you, Katie, and Rebekah sit up in front to keep me from getting nervous?"

"I'd love to. That's much better than out seats in the way back of section 5. I'm excited about seeing you guys perform live tonight. I'm just upset that you won't be playing 'Lucy.' That's my favorite song, and it's my nickname."

"I'm sorry. But my voice is too low to hit those high notes. You look sort of like Lucy from 'peanuts.'

"Thank you." She gently kissed him on the nose. She had an urge to kiss his big pillowy lips, but that might be moving a little too fast. Theresa thought to herself. The two of them continued to cuddle.

"Whoa! It's almost seven!" Taylor exclaimed causing all six of them to jump up and quickly run back to the amphitheater. They made it to backstage in record time, just before people were being let in. Ike, Tay, and Zac led the girls to an area in the front row that they had been informed no one was sitting in. At this time, many fans had started coming in.

"Whoa! Gotta go!" Ike said as he and Tay ran backstage. "Zac! Come on!"

"Hold on!" he gave Theresa a quick hug and a kiss on the cheek and ran backstage.

"Oh my god!" Rebekah squealed. "Can you believe this?!? This is TOO cool! I have got to be dreaming! Oh yeah, I'm ONLY going to see my boyfriend perform!"

"What?!?" Katie asked in shock. "You and Ike are going out?!?"

"Yeah, duh!"

"God, Katie, even I could figure that out!" Theresa added. "And just in case you didn't know-I'm going out with Zac." She just loved saying that. A few girls sitting near them turned and looked at Theresa, but she just brushed off all the looks.

"I kinda figured you and Zac were going out! Jeez! Now Tay and I are the only ones not going out!"

"Not for long." Chuckled Rebekah. Theresa laughed. Rebekah always had her ways.
