Zac led Theresa down the long hallway to his parents and siblings' room.
"They should be here. They couldn't have left, because we had the van, unless of course they took one of the tour buses which would have looked kind of suspicious." Zac bumbled. Theresa just nodded her head. Zac knocked on the door, and they both heard many pairs of feet scampering towards the door. The door was immediately flung open, and Jessica, Avery, and Mackenzie were standing there with innocent grins on their faces. "Hey Jess, Ave, Mackers." Zac greeted his younger siblings.
"Hi Zaccy." They all smiled. Zac pulled Theresa into the room. His parents weren't in the main living room, so Zac introduced Theresa to the three of his younger siblings.
"Theresa, this is Jessica, Avery, and Mackenzie." Zac said, pointing each of his siblings out, as he introduced them. "And Jess, Avie, and Mac, this is Theresa, my..." He hesitated. "my friend." He spit out.
"Oh really Zaccy?" Avery questioned slyly. "Are you sure she's not your GIRLfriend?" She teased. Theresa laughed, while Zac blushed a deep shade of red.
Jessica punched Avery's arm gently. "Hey stupid! Leave him alone." She reprimanded her little sister.
"Okay, anyway, where are mom and dad?" Zac asked.
"Mom's in our bedroom trying to get Zoe to take a nap, and dad is in his bedroom working on something." Jessica informed them.
"Okay." Zac replied to his little sister, and knocked on the door his dad was in.
"Come in." He answered. Zac opened the door and led Theresa in.
"Dad? Um, this is Theresa, my ummm.....friend." He spat out.
"Well, that's not what Ike tells me." Mr. Hanson told Zac slyly, and gave Theresa a little wink. She giggled quietly at his winking. She hated winking!
"Well nice to meet you Theresa." Mr. Hanson said kindly.
"You too." Theresa replied.
At that moment the phone rang. Walker reached across the table to pick it up.
"Hello? Oh, hey Ike." Theresa and Zac heard him say. "Um, I think that should be okay. Hmm, their own bus?" Theresa and Zac had a feeling they knew what this phone call was about. "Okay, I guess. August second? Okay, yeah, sounds good, okay, bye." Mr. Hanson hung up.
"Well Theresa, it looks like you and your friends are coming on tour with us!"
"YES!!!!" Zac and Theresa embraced.
"Well, we'd better get back to our room, cuz the girls have to leave soon." Zac told his dad.
"Okay, behave yourselves." Mr. Hanson replied with a smirk. Zac and Theresa ran back to the room. Amanda, Taylor, Rebekah, and Isaac were jumping all over the room, yelling that the girls got to go on tour with them. Katie and Erin just sat back and watched what was going on before their eyes, mildly amused. Finally, it was time for the girls to get going. The eight of them walked out to Amanda's blue neon waiting in the parking lot. All five girls threw their bags in the trunk. They decided they would take Erin home, since her friend Lauren was her ride home, but Lauren had left hours earlier. They all knew it was time to say goodbye, until next week anyway. They all exchanged hugs and some kisses between Rebekah and Isaac and Theresa and Zac.
"I'm gonna miss you Bek." Isaac said.
"I'll see ya next week. Parking lot of the Marcus, right?"
"Yeah, at five."
After everyone had said their goodbyes and exchanged phone numbers and addresses, the girls sped off to Erin's house.
