"Mom, Dad, I'm home!" Erin called. Her mother came rushing to the door.
"Erin! Where in heavens name have you been? We were so worried about you! You didn't come home with Lauren. We thought you'd been hunted down by some gang!" Erin's mother cried.
"Mom-I'm fine. I have great news! The reason I didn't go home with Lauren is because I met Taylor Hanson!" Erin exclaimed.
"Really?" Erin's mom asked skeptically.
"Yes, really-we became good friends, today we went to the Imax and McDonalds. and I met these four other girls too. They seem really cool. So the eight of us became friends and the guys asked the five of us if we wanted to go on tour with them! Can I go? Pllleeeeaaase? I'll do anything!" Erin begged.
Erin's mom laughed. "I suppose you can go, I mean I'll have to talk it out with their parents, but I'm sure it'll be fine." Erin was surprised her mom took it so well. "Do you have their phone number?"
"Yeah, it's right here." Erin pulled a slip of paper from her pocket and handed it to her mom.
"I'll call later tonight."
"Thanks mom! Love you!" With that Erin grabbed her duffel bag and haulled it upstairs to her room.
Amanda pulled into Theresa's driveway and Theresa cautiously climbed out, making sure not to bump her head, like she had so many a times. She stumbled into her house, with her heavy duffel bag.
"THERESA!" She heard her mother yell sternly. "I told you to be home at 2:30-NO later! You are GROUNDED! I knew it wasn't a good idea to let you stay at a hotel with no adult supervision! You were probably doing drugs and god knows what else!"
"Mother. Chill. Let me explain." Theresa said calmly. "Okay yesterday at the concert, we were picked to go backstage for MOE, before the concert, we played soccer with them, then after the concert we went backstage again, we found out we were staying in the same hotel as them. So that night, we rollerbladed through the hotel, then today we went to the IMAX and McDonalds."
"Theresa, you have got to stop living like this! Get out of your fantasy world! You do not know Hanson!"
Theresa rolled her eyes. "Mother, I'm serious here. They asked us to go on tour with them."
"Theresa." Her mother warned.
"No, look, they signed my shirt." Theresa said pulled her wrinkled tour shirt from her bag. "See?"
"Okay, that's great but you're still grounded! Now get up to your room!"
"Fine." Theresa stomped up to her room.
Amanda pulled into Katie's driveway and let Katie and Rebekah out.
