The effect of burning petroleum based gasoline
Topic: dickbut
Gasoline produces HC,CO,O,and H all of which can hurt the enviroment, but on the other hand ethanol produces CO2 (CARBON DIOXIDE)"Thats it." Although CO2 is a harmfull greenhouse gas there is so little from the engine produced that even if all the cars on the road were ran on ethanol the corn would consume it up. That is a funny thing though isn't it; Corn is what Ethanol is made of. In fact Ethanol is the most efficient alternitive fuel on the market. It takes less energy to grow the corn than it does to produce it, And not just that when the car burns the fuel the corn consumes the CO2. It is a never ending cycle. It is cheaper and higher octane than gas, and if the demand went up Ethanol plants would pop up everywhere. That means new jobs, and the ethanol price would plummet causing gasoline to be a thing of the past. So do the world a favor and start buying a car that runs on ethanol. I rest my peace
