Hey there folks. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to actually get back to you on how weezerfest was. I know it's been 2 weeks but better late than never. First off I want to say that yes we did actually have it and people did actually attend, to my surprise.

My 2 man set-up crew and I arrived at the park around 1pm. Surprisingly NORP, our cover band, was there on time. We started setting up and by 1:30 or so the band had set up all their equipment and people we didn't know showed up. Are overall attendance was about 20 people...I sorta forgot to count.

We had some free weezer stickers that we made out. Some free food and even a huge weezerfest cake. we also had mini water guns and bubbles to people to play with. Some on even brought apples and oranges which was really cool!

NORP played "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here", "My Name Is Jonas", "In the Garage", and one of their own original songs.

After the band had played we sat around and chilled out. Almost everyone started playing ultimate fresbie. Some of us attacked the bands equipment and pretended like we could play instruments. Everyone got a chance to play the drums and it was all good.

Before anyone had to leave we cut the beautiful weezerfest cake and enjoyed it's weezy goodness. After eating cake we started a dangerous water and soda fight. It got nasty, it got sticky, but no weezer fans were hurt in the process. Around 4pm the band was packed up, the parked had been picked up, and weezerfest had ended.

Let's all start a weezer cover band! NORP's wicked drummer. NORP's drum head. Weezer fan chilling and listening to some music.
