Opting to let Mei show you around, your first challenge is to get on the pegasus' back. Sensing your unease, Mei bows down for you and you easily slip onto her back. She jolts skyward and your forced to wrap your arms around her neck. With a few good beats of her wings, she's airborne and you're looking down. Instead of going very high, however, Mei stays seven or eight feet from the ground and circles around the mountain to a small hidden valley. You see three creatures come into view. A soft voice, like the wind echoed in a canyon, whispers in your mind: This small troupe of Deriss call the highlands home but their birth realm is The Nameless Forest..  The first is the colour of a cloudy blue sky with a long silky mane. The mare looks over her shoulder at you and tosses back her mane. Swaying her tail, she goes back to grazing on a clover patch. The name Kaori floats through your mind.  The second is a shadow black stallion with a shock of brilliant blue hair. He watches you warily, bobbing his head to show off his wicked curved horns. They gleam in the clear sunlight peeking between the clouds. The name Senkai whispers in the back of your mind.  As Mei circles around the small valley, a bright chestnut flash leaps up at you. The young colt clears a good five feet but comes up short. Mei whickers and the colt whinnies back. His white face accents his pale blue eyes as he watches you swoop over the valley once again. As Mei comes closer to him, you wave and he bobs his head. Leaping into a full gallop alongside you, he pulls ahead of Mei and leads you deeper into the valley. The name Jinja enters your mind and you smile.  A buckskin mare races up to meet Jinja and they chase each other in a wide circle. The name Vyn plays through your mind.  A bay stallion trots up a hillock warily, swishing his tail back and forth, as you fly overhead. He snorts as he pass but then offers a greeting nicker with a bob of his head. The name Shar enters your mind.  Bounding up with more energy that the chestnust colt, a rust and brown calico Derissa starts to follow you. She whickers playfully but joins Jinja and Vyn in their joyful romp. The name Cerise seems to almost giggle in your mind. Mei flies onward Mountain Realm Entrance Lady Reaper |
