Ho hum...CMH's clips from the last episode just aren't very enjoyable, especially since parts don't change (maybe in compliance with the fire damage).
Erik: "I'm truly shocked that Baldwin was executed."
Michael: "I don't understand why I'm still here."
Kathy: "I--I am now completely starting from the beginning. I don't know who it is it all."
Frederique: "Oh, my goodness. It's heavy. But it's very interesting as well."
Corbin: "This is a very stressful situation, and it's filled with emotion. It's hard for somebody to be kicked out. My heart was pumping."
On a beach at Pohoa Bay, Ahmad greets the players. Despite their instances of good teamwork, the pot isn't very impressive. He tells them to split into a group of two and one of three. Corbin and Erik are the group of two, and Kathy, Frederique, and Michael are the group of three. Ahmad needs one player in the group of two who is a natural born leader, and one who looks good on the beach.
Kathy: "Ahmad said to Corbin and Erik we need a leader and we need someone who looks good on the beach. Corbin shouldn't have hesitated. You just turn to the kid and go 'You look good on the beach.'"
Needless to say, Corbin is the leader, and Erik is the 'looks good on the beach.'
Ahmad says Corbin is the 'captain,' and he hands him a captain's hat.
Out in the water is the "offshore Mole account" (a float) that contains $30,000. All they have to do is go to it and get a flag, but they can't swim. Supplies for the construction of a raft (a "pile of junk") lay in front of them. Everyone has to fit inside it, except Erik, the player who looks good on the beach, will have to just make smoothies for the rest of the team as they make the raft.
Erik: "I was pretty bummed out when I found out I'd be just making smoothies while these guys were gonna make a raft and run out to get this sack of money."
They have 30 minutes to build the raft.
Kathy: "I know Corbin's just in hog heaven. Because he used to be a carpenter, and you'd think he was Jesus with the I-used-to-be-a-carpenter. "Corbin turned back into super veiny hockey dad, but this week's episode was super veiny hockey dad goes to the beach."
Corbin calls the shots in the building of the raft. Michael says another term for 'Mole' is bartender of the animal kingdom.
Ahmad offers Erik an exemption at the smoothy table. If he takes a kayak that sits a few feet away and rows out to the offshore account and removes the flag before the other players make it there, no money will be added to the pot and Erik earns an exemption. However, it costs $15 to rent the kayak, and Erik is broke. Ahmad supplies him with a metal detector and points him to an area of the beach in which $15 in quarters have been buried. Once he gets all $15, he can rent the kayak from the cabana boy, who is none other than Stephen Baldwin.
Stephen: "They still need me!"
Erik: "When I saw who the cabana boy was I definitely chuckled. I think it's just him wanting to still be a part of the game. "I was really thinking about it, because I started that day telling myself that if I'm offered an exemption I'm gonna go for it. But, if we lose $30,000, that's pretty significant."
He has 24 minutes to get the exemption, but must deliver the smoothies first.
He does, and metal detects where Ahmad pointed him.
Corbin asks Erik what he's doing. He lies, saying he's trying to help them, but Ahmad outright tells the other players what he's doing. It seems they'll be pissed at him either way.
Erik has found $2.50.
A few minutes later, he delivers a bunch of quarters to the cabana boy and tells him to count them. It's $11.50, close but no cigar.
Michael: "You could have configured that thing probably six ways till Sunday but you couldn't do it in a panic state."
Construction of the raft continues, and Erik is up to $14.25.
The raft is done, and Erik has $15, both at the same time.

The raft quickly capsizes.
Erik grabs the flag from the offshore account and gains an exemption for himself.

Frederique: "Corbin in a way was misleading. In 30 minutes, we should have had something at least floating in the water."
Ahmad has another offer for Erik. He can add $60,000 to the pot if he gives back the exemption. Erik asks what Ahmad would do, but Ahmad refuses to answer.
Erik opts for the 60 grand. Ahmad wants to make sure, so he asks him again. Erik says 60 thousand is a lot, he's confident who the Mole is, and he'll take the money.
TEST PASSED - +$60,000 TOTAL - $102,000
Kathy: "The great thing too, was that I was determined to not have to be seen on television in a bathing suit, and I just couldn't care less. I mean, my cellulite was flying all over and I didn't care anymore. It was hot, I was insane, and here's the kicker: Corbin won't stop making the boat. He's flipping out, he won't stop."
Please...kill me now...
Corbin: "It definitely had to cast some suspicion upon me, the builder, of not getting this thing built, when, in hindsight, I could probably go out and put the whole damn thing together in about five minutes."
Erik: "When I came back in to tell the other players what had happened, I just wanted to test the waters to see how they would react if I said that I did all that for an exemption and lost the money. "The way they reacted, I wasn't expecting that. They weren't overjoyed when they found out what I did. They seemed very suspicious."
Erik comes back to the players and isn't quite honest to them at first, but he tells them what he did. All of them chide him for taking the exemption, and are pleased if not ecstatic that he gave it back for the money. Corbin thanks Erik for making it perfectly clear who the Mole is.
Kathy: "He took the money instead of the exemption. I don't know any other player that wouldn't have taken the exemption."
Michael: "When Erik turned down the exemption it make him look both less like the Mole and more like the Mole."
Frederique: "I think it was very honorable that he did that. It would have made definitely suspicion and add something on my "Erik list."
Kathy: "I know Erik is frustrated by this because he felt like he made $60,000 for the pot and we should all be jumping up and hugging him, but we would have been furious if he had taken the exemption, and yet we weren't happy that he didn't."
Corbin articulates to Erik how what he did was still suspicious. He pulls Erik aside at the same time.
Corbin: "So we sat down and put out the offer of a coalition. But I haven't gotten anybody to just jump in."
Erik says he thinks Michael is the Mole. Corbin asks him why. Corbin asks Erik to draw a dollar sign in the sand. He does, with 2 lines. Corbin reflects back to the first game, with the underwater money sack that had only one line in the dollar sign, like how Michael's show ARLI$$ is spelled.
Grasping a bit but very observant.
At lunch, Michael says the executions freak him out more than anything. Erik laughs for the first time at one of Kathy's disgusting jokes.
Frederique: "It was the first time that Erik laughed at her joke, so maybe she's not suspecting him anymore."
While the players talk, Ahmad slips in unnoticed. He hopes the players left some room from lunch. A waitress brings in a plate of hot chili peppers.

Kathy: "Of course my mind goes to the absolute worst-case scenario. Maybe we would be stuck in a barrel of hot peppers and have to eat our way out."
Ahmad: "These six types of peppers range from hot, to real hot."
Michael: "I love hot food. But I also know that I can only take so much. Oh my God, the eyes start to water, and you know, I start to sweat, and it gets nuts, I get a little jittery stomach."
Ahmad leads them back into the beach house. A contraption sits on a table in one of the main rooms. There are mice in that thing!

Corbin: "When I saw the mice, truthfully I thought we were going to have to stick the mice in our mouth or something. I mean, I thought it was all of a sudden not about the peppers but was a choice: eat a pepper or a mouse."
Kathy: "We all started to get nauseous, thinking about what the game might be."
The doors that the mice will run through will determine which pepper the players will eat, 1 through 6, 1 being hot, and 6 being real hot.
The names of the mice are Stripe, Zero, Daphne, Spooky, and Grey Ghost.
Each pepper eaten is worth $10,000. Ahmad will ask general pop culture questions of the players. If they answer correctly, they have the option to eat the pepper or pass it off to another player. If they are wrong, they must eat it themselves. The name of this game is Looky Looky Hot Pepper. It is named thus because after biting the pepper, the players must open their mouths to show the pepper off and then swallow it.
Milk is the best remedy for the effects of hot peppers on the mouth. Since Ahmad is so fond of the players, he'll only charge them $1,000 per glass of milk.
Corbin volunteers to go first.
The question is: What future Playboy model was born Vicky Lynn Hogan, then worked at Jim's Crispy Fried Chicken as she waited for her big break? Cindy Margolis, Pamela Anderson, or Anna Nicole Smith.
Corbin answers Pamela Anderson. He is wrong. The answer is Anna Nicole Smith.
Corbin chooses Stripe to pick his pepper. Stripe enters door 6.
Kathy: "So then of course his mouse automatically runs to the hottest pepper possible."
Corbin shows the pepper to everyone on his tongue and downs it in two seconds, not seemingly bothered.
Erik is next.
The question is: What magazine did Brad Pitt sue for publishing nude photos of him in 1997?
Before hearing any possible choices, Erik answers Vogue.
He is wrong. The answer is Playgirl.
Erik chooses Grey Ghost to pick his pepper. He enters door number 4.
Erik: "As far as peppers go, I've never liked them, even non-spicy peppers like the bell peppers. I can't even eat them."
He smells the pepper.
Kathy: "Erik had said to me before, 'I'm not a good spicy person.'"
Grimacing all the way, he chews up the pepper, shows it to everyone and swallows.
Ahmad asks Corbin if he's all right.
Kathy: "Out of the blue for no reason, he takes another number-six hottest pepper and pops it in his mouth to show what a big man he is."
Michael's question is: Felicity was the first name of Heather Graham's character in the second Austin Powers movie. What was her last name?
Kathy: "So he can't remember it. I'm sitting there, thinking 'Come on, the movie's called The Spy Who Shagged Me,' come on. I didn't even see the movie but I know she played Felicity Shagwell."
Michael has no answer. Ahmad asks if anyone else knows. And Kathy gives the answer. He didn't ask Kathy, so Michael has to eat a pepper. He picks Daphne to decide his fate. Daphne enters door number 5.
Michael takes a deep breath and composes himself to eat the pepper.
Michael: "I decided, 'Okay, if I'm gonna eat peppers, I'm gonna eat them as quickly as I can, meaning I was going to just try to ignore whatever pain I was in."
Michael bites and chews, looky-lookys, and swallows for another $10,000.

Frederique is next.
Her question is: Which actor was cast in the Han Solo role in Star Wars before Harrison Ford got this gig? Tom Cruise, Burt Reynolds, or Tom Selleck
She says she has no idea, but guesses Burt Reynolds. She is correct.
She picks Zero to run to a door. Zero starts to enter door number two, but moves to three. Frederique has the option to pass.
Frederique: "I don't like spicy foods. I would go for something maybe weird in food, but spicy is definitely not on the list."
And pass it she does. She passes it to Corbin. He finds a dark pepper since he says those are less hot. He takes two big bites, chews, looky lookys and swallows.
Kathy's question is: Who was the first actress to be paid $1 million for a movie? Mary Pickford, Elizabeth Taylor, or Meryl Streep
Kathy says Elizabeth Taylor. Michael thinks she's wrong, but she's right. The only mouse left is Spooky. He enters door number two.
Kathy: "I am not a spicy food eater at all. I am Irish, and bland bland bland."
Naturally, she wants Corbin to eat it. Corbin says he'll eat the 2 pepper if he gets a glass of milk.
Corbin: "I'm a little worried for tomorrow, but today it's my forte. Tomorrow it's my fart-e."
Ahmad pours Corbin a glass of milk, which he eagerly drinks. Corbin successfully eats the 2 pepper.
Ahmad will add another $10,000 to the pot if each of them eats of one of the peppers in a plate he holds.
They waffle, so he ups the offer to $20k, then to $25k.
Frederique is the only player who won't do it. Corbin points out a red pepper in the middle of the plate, saying it isn't spicy. She still won't eat it. Corbin says if she doesn't eat, she's the Mole.
Michael: "I've had a couple of reservations about Frederique and whether or not she might be the Mole. That was not a lot, but this one was one of them."
Ahmad says the time is up. It could have been $25,000 more. The pepper Corbin pointed out is sweet. Frederique says he wasn't convincing enough.
TEST PASSED - +$49,000 TOTAL - $151,000
Frederique: "I tell you, these peppers, I was not going to touch them. I didn't care about the $25,000. Everybody -- Corbin has lost $25,000, Michael -- I hadn't lost any money yet. It was not going to happen. I was not going to eat that. "I hate peppers!"
At the execution dinner everyone is paranoid. Corbin thinks they should chose seats and then change them. It eliminates any possibility that the Mole had to sit in any specific place.
Mr. Happy Ahmad asks them to pick a number between 1 and 20. They pick page 17. He asks them to remove page 17 from their journals. He takes them all and reads them at the table.
If the players tell Ahmad that he is reading their page, he will stop and return it to them, otherwise he will continue.

The first one says "Moonster," and then there's a little wavy thing on the side that looks like a sailboat or something.
It says "Moonstone," and Frederique admits it's hers.
Next one: "Jumping off a 35-foot cliff?? I didn't do it, but Erik wanted me to lie to the team about doing it. Why? What would he benefit from deceiving the others? Nothing, other than getting me on his side. Is he the Mole or does he just want me to think he is?"
Obviously, this one is Michael's.
"I hate everybody. This game is driving me crazy. I can't stand Frederique. Every day she comes out looking so pretty and I just can't stand it. And Michael, he thinks he's just the tops. Corbin, a bully."
It's Kathy's page, but there was nothing actually written on it. Ahmad made all that up.
Corbin says that Kathy is doing well as the Mole, but he doesn't think she is the Mole because, "Wouldn't the audience get tired of her after five nights?"
You got it, Corbs.
Kathy procedes to write Corbin, a bully, in her journal.
"1.5 equals 20 percent. 25 - five into 100, 20. Boat. Kathy: $2,000, Corbin: $4,000."
This is Erik's page. Michael says it's the Moliest thing he's heard in his life.
Erik: "Ahmad picked the page which had some of my...probability methods. It's like roulette."
"Day three, Sunday. Fred: blue top, brown belt, khaki shorts. Mike: green pants. Erik: red shirt. No Stephen in makeup.
Corbin says it's not his, but there's no one left.
Frederique: "Corbin could still be the Mole. He hasn't made a real mistake yet, of mind, but I have to say he's so into looking at everything that it's just...he's wacked."
Ahmad raises a toast to the players' success of that day in adding $109,000 to the pot.
Pepper breathed and slightly embarrassed, the players head to the quiz.
1. Is the Mole male or female?
2. Did the Mole wear a hat at any time during the Offshore Account game?
Frederique: "Corbin in a way was misleading. You know, he was a carpenter in his prior work life. In 30 minutes, we should have had something at least floating in the water."
3. What was the name of the Mole's mouse during the chili pepper game?
4. At brunch today, what did the Mole say they do when they are stressed?
5. When the players were first divided in the Offshore Account game, which group of players was the Mole in?
Kathy: "Erik denying the exemption and ttaking the money. Does that or does that not make him the Mole? I don't know any other player that wouldn't have taken the exemption."
6. Did the Mole take a bite of at least 1 pepper in the chili pepper game?
Erik: "Frederique astounded me, because especially after she turned down the $25,000, she took a bite out of the pepper, which I couldn't believe."
7. During the Offshore Account game, was the Mole ever barefoot?
Corbin: "Mr. Boatman...Boat...Man...was a little bit slow. A little bit strange in behavior today."
8. What number did the Mole's mouse run to during the chili pepper game?
9. What color shirt or top did the Mole wear during brunch today?
10. Who is the Mole?
Once again we head to the execution. Click on the pictures below. If a green screen appears, that player is still in the game. If a red screen appears, they're not.
