She rolls up, stands in a ready stance, and looks around.
Leo's in a sword fight with three guys, doing pretty well for himself. Raph's grinning and fighting with two guys with his sai. He takes one out. Don is up against another guy with his bo. Mikey with his chucks up against a dude with sai. Casey's fighting a guy with chucks, using a stick he found.
11 guys? Geeze, just for me and Case? Did they know the Turtles were involved?
Her adversaries are up and watching her.
"Oh, come on guys! Three against one, and YOU'RE calling ME the coward? Yeesh!" She comments.
They all attack her and she goes into a flurry of activity.
She's keeping them from hurting her and she's sure they were tiering. But so is she, and she doesn't want to keep this up, so she decides to stop being Miz Nice Gal.
Raph is suddenly beside her.
"Mind if I get Tall, Dark and Ugly out of your hair?" he asks her, grinning.
"Sure, babe! Have fun!" she replies, grinning back.
One of the smaller guys punches her, or rather, tries to punch her, but she moves out of his way, grabs his arm and thrusts the heel of her other hand into his elbow, breaking it. "Sorry," she says, meaning it, and cringing at the sound. He goes down in pain and surprise.
Raph sees this and grins.
Wow, I didn't know she could be so brutal!
Out loud, he tells her, "That was NICE!"
She grins, "You're not half bad yerself!" Then she hollars, "Shitballs!" as she dances aside from a katana that's coming down for her. She doesn't feel herself get cut.
Raph sees her blood, but can't get to her. The big guy who first attacked her now has butterfly knives out and is fighting with Raph.
Leo sees the predicament Diana iss in, too.
"Diana! Catch!" Leo shouts and tosses her one of his katana.
She catches it and stands ready. "Thanks, Leo!" she shouts back.
The guy slices at her head and she blocks and moves aside from him.
He tries cutting again and she smacks his sword down and moves behind him, slicing his back open, cutting enough to hurt, but not to kill.
The guy whips around and tries cutting her again, she dodges aside and slices one of his legs open.
She says conversationally, "You know, if you keep attacking me, I'll just keep cutting you up."
The guy attacks one more time, and she cuts his arm on the other side.
The guy then drops his sword and goes down to his knees in pain. Apparently, it's just too much for him.
George can tell they aren't going to win this battle when he sees Diana's last opponent go down, bleeding.
He gets a glimps of the turtle with the swords working with the turtle with the bo to bring one of the best guys down. The turtles have the upper hand.
The Master is NOT going to like this.
He shouts, "Withdraw!"
Diana hears the cry to retreat from the other side, and watches as the people who are relatively uninjured carry and help the injured disappear.
Then she sees Raph looking at her, "What?"
Raph comes over and presses a piece of cloth he had taken out of his belt to her shoulder and says, "You're bleeding."
It's then that she looks down at herself and notices that the left front side of her jacket is wet and stained a deep red. She reaches up to take over pressing the wound. "Damn," she says, only now noticing the pain and slight weakness, "thanks, Raph."
Raph nods, and Mike comes over to look at the cut. "You feelin' dizzy or anything, Dudette?"
"I'm feelin' kinda weak, but I don't think that comes as much of a surprise," she replies tiredly.
Raph looks at her in concern.
I don't remember her being that pale.
By now, Mikey had wrapped her shoulder, so she doesn't have to keep pressing. There is a red spot on the bandage, but it isn't growing, so the pressure is doing its job.
They all decide to go back to the lair, except for Casey, who goes to his home.
She'd wiped as much blood as she could off of the blade of Leo's katana, before handing it back to him, and thanking him.
They make the trip back to the turtles' lair in silence.
Once they get back, Diana feels like she's about to fall over.
"Man, I'm tired," she says, and Mikey gives her a hug.
After she cleans herself up and got rebandaged up by Mikey, she falls into a deep sleep, comforted by the gentle feeling of Raph stroking her hair.
