Chapter Nineteen

The guys being ninja and all, both groups decide the best policy is silence, so that's how they got to the roof, swiftly and silently, drawing as little attention as possible.

"That seemed a little to easy," Diana whispers when they reach the roof.

"Yeah, it's not like four man sized turtles and a babe in armor is something you see every day," Mike whispers back.

"This is true..."

"Hush guys...what's that over there?" Leo asks, catching sight of something dark forming in the middle of the roof while the five of them don't move from their cover.

Diana curses softly under her breath as the dark mass forms into the Dark Master and seems to look directly at her.

She feels a strong arm wrap itself around her shoulders and pull her close to a powerful body.

"It's ok, Diana, we won't let this bastard hurt you again," Raph whispers into her ear.

Diana nods, leaning a bit into him.

The Dark Master smirks as he forms onto the roof.

The fools think I don't know where they are?

He looks directly at Diana and watches the red bandana-ed turtle hug her close.

The turtle looks like he has a thing for her.

He watches again as she leans into the embrace.

And she returns the feelings, how odd. No matter, at any rate, she is mine, her and his feelings matter not.

He feels George and his three personal guards step from the shadows.

It is time for the battle to begin.

Diana and the turtles watch in fear and suprise as the Dark Master raises his arm and vaporizes the barrels they're hiding behind.

"Shit," Raph swears as they stand.

"Attack," the Dark master orders coldly, "kill the turtles, but leave the girl alone. She's mine. Make them suffer."

George glares at Raph, shouting at him, "You're mine, shortly. And this time, I won't lose."

"Yeah, whatevah," Raph smirks, whipping his sai out and pairing off with him.

As he and George are fighting, the other three were being attacked by the personal guards.

"Dude!" Mike shouts, "These guys are GOOD!"

"Yeah," Don says, fighting his opponent furiously with his bo, "almost too good for one on one."

"You're right, but we're a team, right? Well, let's fight like one then!" Leo hollers.

As they change tactics, Diana pairs off against the Dark Master.

"At last the final battle," the Dark One says, bringing his black sword down towards Diana, only to find that she's moved.

"Hai," Diana says, bringing her sword around at lightning speeds towards her enemy.

"One you won't win, little one," he says, blocking her strike.

"That's what you think," Diana answers, dancing away and knocking his return blow aside. She goes under his guard and slices his stomach.

"First blood," she grins, backing away and watching in satisfaction as he growls in pain.

"You will NOT win this! I will crush your will and then you will be..." he growls as Diana attacks him again, this time going for the jugular. He barely blocks in time.

"So that is how you want to play it, then. Fine," he snarls, attacking faster and with more force than most would give him credit for.

Diana is barely avoiding his blows, and she isn't able to get in any of her own.

Crap, she thinks, barely dodging again, this isn't going well at all, I must have SOME advantage!

She cries out in suprise as the Dark Master's sword glances across the breastplate of her armor.

Either I'm slowing down or he's speeding up, either way, this is NOT good in the least!
