Yes, these are the Ossi awards. I have to dissapoint the people who think they are official (if there are). The Ossi Awards are completely unofficial.

How do you get an Ossi award?

You can get the Ossi award on 3 ways. 1 : You make a great site. 2 : You do something for a big public where I think of "wow, that deserves an Award"(This can be positive or negative). 3 : You win a contest I made (In 2001 it was possible with mailing me a #round mail, but I quitted that).

When are the Ossi awards given away?

The Ossi Awards are randomly given, if I find something good enough you get one and I tell you it when I update, so you can see yourself imediatly on this site. The yearnumber only tells in what year it is given.

So if the Ossi awards don't mean anything, what's the use of it?

I give them away to support people or (if it is a negative award) to tell them how much I hate their actions. Besides, if I give away enough, people begin to recognise them like "hey, did that other site also have an Ossi award?"

How do I recognise a fake?
