-How do I download Dragon Warrior Online?

Downloading DWO is extremely easy. Go to www.byond.com and download the byond software and install it. Afterwards, open up the Byond "Dream Seeker," make a user name for yourself, and go to "Hub." Click the link for games live and join Dragon Warrior Online. You must be connected to the internet and in the Dream Seeker for this to work

-How do I play Dragon Warrior Online?

Take a look at the Tutorial.

-Can I have [insert request here]?

Special requests, such as giving player's their own unique icon and begging for gold or help with levelling up only slow down the developement of the game. If I gave everyone special treatment and had to worry about uploading new icons etc, the game would never be get finished. Sorry, I can't help you.

-When is the next version coming out?

When it is ready. Don't ask-you'll probably just get some fake estimate to stop you from asking again.

-There is a bug in the game, what do I do?

If you have encountered a bug, go to the Bug Report Forum and post exactly what you were doing when the bug occurred, and what the bug did.

-Who made the game?

-I have an idea for the game!!

Post any ideas that you have for DWO in the forums, they might just be used.

-DWO runs slow on my computer, how do I fix it?

DWO will run a lot faster for you if you play on the main server. There will be absolutely no lag on this server for you if you have cable or dsl, etc. However, 56k connections tend to experience some lag, no matter what server you are playing on.

-When will the game be finished?

I have no clue-the final version will have a full overworld and story line and be about the size of one of the NES DW games.

-Where did the idea for the game come from?

I wanted to make a byond game, but I had no really good ideas for one. One day I tinkered around with ripping off Dragon Warrior 1 graphics and the game built from there. All because of the graphics.

-How do Balzack,Silk Wizard, Clickster, The Coach and Babsy know each other?

We all go to school together.

-Did SilkWizard do all the programming?

Yes. I did however, get code from the following: Nadrew- for the code that disabled .click Deadron-his amazing save system Vortezz-pointed me in the right direction for an efficient teleportation system. I also read through all of the tutorials and demos and searched the BYOND forums for any other answers that I needed.

I'm torn on my view on fan games....but considering that I'm making one I don't have a whole lot of ground to speak against them.

-Why hasn't Silk Wizard replied to my email?

If your email was requesting something, it will probably take me awhile to get back to you. I usually take a long time to respond to all emails. Would you rather have me replying to emails or have me spend my time coding the new versions?...
