Here is my first win in the $60 buy in (with rebuys) No Limit Hold'em tournament at The Last Frontier Casino in La Center, Washington. The tournament holds 50 players and has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool. When we finally reached heads up play, Mark and I agreed to a chop, as the blinds were so high that little skill would be involved. We each took home over $2,300.

Here is my repeat at the Frontier tournament, although this time I decided to go for the win. After a royal flush doubled my stack in going to the final table, I was second in the chip count. While down to three players the chips were being thrown around like crazy, until third place was given, and we were finally heads up. Bob offered a chop, although he felt that since he had a slight chip lead, he should get $500 more than I. Needless to say, I wasn't up for that. We agreed to play it out, and the next hand I doubled up with AQ against his A2. By the third hand of heads up play, I had taken $3,087 for first place.

Besides these 1st place wins, I have taken a 3rd, 5th, 7th, and a 10th in this tournament. 3rd place paid over $1,000, and 10th was about $250. The tournament always pays the top 10 places, and runs every Saturday on specified months.
