"Thinking of France," a translation of a poem by Celan, by Franz Wright, Waltham, MA (reprinted October 2001; originally published in his chapbook, The Beforelife, 2001)

"This is our first year to publish poetry," says Sellman. "We received many many good poems this year, and had a wonderful grand opening for our new poetry division with Franz Wright as our featured poet."

The Pushcart is one of the largest literary awards available, distinguishing short stories, poems and essays published by America's small presses and magazines. Publishers Weekly named the Pushcart among the "most influential in the development of the American book business over the past century and a quarter."
