   PREMIERE
Margin was launched on January 15, 2000.

   FREQUENCY
Margin's frequency began as perpetual and infrequent. That is, content was added
as it was found so that the website continuously grew at a rate manageable for its
staff. In 2004, the stuff switched to its current triquarterly schedule. Published works
remain accessible for the lifetime of the website, unlike many websites, some which
archive their works after as short a period as one week.

H O W
Margin is accessible by most browsers (Netscape 2,3 and 4; Microsoft Internet Explorer
3,4 and 5; AOL 4; WebTV 1) running on all sorts of operating systems (Windows
     3.1, 95, 98 and NT; Macintosh; WebTV; Linux2; SunOS2; HP-UX).

Most search engines include Margin at the top of their listings. Dozens of websites also refer
     visitors regularly to Margin.

Visitors are encouraged to print out sections and read them offline to prevent eye
strain and to save on online charges. The website is meant to be read, not surfed,
which means some sections can run longer than traditional online fare.
