"Why couldn't girls just see me for ME?" Nick asked Brian while sitting poolside at the Carter household.
"Nick, L'il Buddy, you know the answer the that. You knew the answer when we first started the BSB" Brian said grabbing a bottle of water from the tray that Nick's mom had set out for them
"I know, but man, it's so hard. I just want someone to love- ya know? I mean how can I sing all those love songs if I have never actually been in love?" Nick said catching a bottle of water being tossed at him.
"Man, don't worry about it! You know that you will meet a girl who is right for you when the time is right." Brian said smiling.
"Yah I guess, But I don't even know if I belive in love andmore." Nick said splashing his feet in the pool.
"Comeon. You know you do!? Brian said looking at Nick.
"Nick, with his puuppy dog face turned his head to face Brian, just to get water in his face. "Oh you're in for it now." Nick said spitting water out, and pushing Brian in the pool.
They were horsin around for about 20 minutes when Nick's mom returned home with all his siblings. "Count me in!" Arron yelled and jumped in the pool. Soon it was a big ole water fight, with all the Carters included.
A few hours later, the crazyness has died down, and Nick finally got what he wanted all day-- peace and quiet. He walked outside onto the deck off his room, carrying with him and a "Nick is a God" Pen that a fan had given him. He looked out on the bright orange, pink and red sunset and just started to write. For hours great song lyrics and wonderfully sad poems came pouring out of his soul, from a place he never knew existed. "wow." He said as he fianlly finished. Looking up at the moon he walked back into his room and collasped on his bed and fell asleep clothes and all.
